Ji Soo and Ha Seok Jin’s Characters Show a Different Side When They’re in Love in “When I Was The Most Beautiful”
Brothers Ji Soo and Ha Seok Jin, seem like different people when they're in love!
Romance drama "When I Was The Most Beautiful" starring Ha Seok Jin, Im Soo Hyang, and Ji Soo follows a love triangle between two brothers and a girl they both fell in love with at first sight named Oh Ye Jin, a ceramic artist and a teacher who dreams of only one thing: to find simple happiness.
One of the brothers, Seo Hwan, portrayed by Ji Soo, is an architectural designer. Seo Hwan fell in love with Oh Ye Jin first when he met her in school, but put aside his feelings when his older brother Seo Jin, who is a race car driver, also fell in love with the same woman.
Seo Hwan, who adores his older brother but is also deeply in love with Oh Ye Jin, will bring heartbreaking scenes of the predicament that he is in. This heartbreaking story will leave the characters undecided when it comes to choosing family or love.
In the previous episode of "When I Was The Most Beautiful", Seo Jin and Seo Hwan's relationship is shown at the start of the episode. They seem to be very close with each other, especially when they wrestle and tease each other playfully.
However, the close brothers seem to show different sides when it comes to love. Seo Jin is the kind of person who will say what he truly feels and thinks. He never hesitates to profess his love for the woman that he loves. Seo Jin, attracted to the pureness of Oh Ye Jin, he tries to win her heart with very confident gestures. He also goes to lengths to save Oh Ye Jin from her cruel aunt and often makes her go outside her comfort zone.
When Oh Ye Jin tried to shut Seo Jin away, Seo Jin tells her, "I'm not trying to save you. I'm trying to lean on you. I'm going to stick myself to the person who keeps their head up even at the worst times." Gradually, Seo Jin's efforts are all worth it as Oh Ye Ji seems to start understanding him a little bit.
Seo Hwan, on the other hand, shocked the viewers by confessing his love for Oh Ye Ji. Seo Hwan fell in love with her when he saw her for the first time using a lotus leaf umbrella during a rainy day. Finding out that Oh Ye Ji cannot sleep without the lights on, Seo Hwan promises Oh Ye Ji to always be a bright light to protect her from the dark.
However, Seo Hwan felt like everything in his life was going downhill when he saw his brother and the woman that he fell in love for kiss during a date. He shouts a very painful line saying, "I hate how I'm young and there's nothing I can do. I hate that I can't protect you even though someone hurts you, and I hate that I can't stop my brother from going to you. I hate that I can't do anything!"
Seo Hwan continues talking by telling Oh Ye Jin to not kiss Seo Jin and not hold hands or even sit with anyone.
