Kim Bum is The Most Charismatic Gumiho You'll Ever See in "Tale of the Nine-Tailed"
Upcoming fantasy drama recently shared brand new stills, featuring actor Kim Bum!
"Tale of the Nine-Tailed" follows a story about a nine-tailed fox which is a mythical creature called a gumiho. According to Korean legend, when a fox lives for a thousand years, it magically transforms into a Gumiho. Carrying the name Lee Yeon, this Gumiho decides to reside in urban areas of Korea and mimic human form and behavior. He goes on cleansing the souls of people he runs into and creates havoc.
Enters into the picture is TV Producer, Nam Ji Ah (Jo Bo Ah). She is currently featuring a show about urban myths and will go on different lengths to showcase an unusual topic that could fascinate her viewers with awe. Nam Ji Ah runs into Lee Yeon (Lee Dong Wook), whose looks and qualities are too good to be true: handsome, intellectual, physically fit, and carries the qualities that all women want for a partner.
However, his cold personality is one to set him back off and will make people, especially Nam Ji Ah, question if he is part of this world.

Just when Lee Yeon's plans thrive on earth, all of it gets disrupted by his brother, who is half human and half Gumiho named Yi Rang, portrayed by actor Kim Bum. He is considered to be the most frightful gumiho because he carries within him an emotion that could explode within minutes. The fact that he has also mastered transforming from a gumiho to a human interchangeably makes him take advantage of people by placing bets through the greed and desires of humans.
Kim Bum's acting career has been on a hiatus for four years, and fans are happy to find out that he will be returning with such a charismatic role. Shown in the stills is actor Kim Bum's character, Yi Rang, who looks chill yet superior with his all-black suit while carrying a glass of wine. He smirks while talking to the person in front of him, and he looks like he's got it all figured out. A sudden increase in emotion appears within the scene when Yi Rang smiles wildly. A lot of anticipation has been growing for a reason behind the curious scene.
According to the actor, he felt a mixture of nervousness and excitement while filming the drama since it was his first time to come back to acting for a very long time. However, he felt very welcomed because of the kind director and the considerate cast and crew who allowed his stiff body filled with nervousness to relax. The actor then mentions that portraying Yi Rang has been an exciting character to show since it is different from all the characters that he used to play.
The actor says to look forward to the upcoming fantasy drama "Tale of the Nine-Tailed" because they have prepared very hard for viewers to love it!
