South Korean star Lee Ji Eun more known as her stage name IU. During her middle school years, the star discovered her passion for singing, and she then decided to take the path of a singer. IU first became famous in Korea as a solo performing artist. Then fast forward to the year 2011, it was the time that the star decided her hand at acting through the drama "Dream High," where she portrayed the character of the lovable Kim Pil-sook together with celebrities Jang Wooyoung, Bae Suzy and Ok Taecyeon.

Ever since her acting debut, IU has been the number 1 most sought after actress in Korean drama and has starred in hit dramas like "My Mister" and "Scarlet Heart Ryeo." Her most recent project is the tvN network drama "Hotel del Luna. "

Aside from being a member of the famous girl group Girls Generation, she has also made way to the Korean drama world as a notable actress. She first started to portray a small role in the drama "Two Outs in the Ninth Inning" and she then got the chance to portray a main role in the drama "You Are My Destiny" in which she was able to take home the best new actress award at the 2008 KBS Drama Awards. In 2019, the famous star made her big screen debut with the film Exit where she portrayed the lead star alongside actor Jo Jong-suk.

Girl's Day's Hyeri kick started her acting career in the following dramas "Tasty Life," "Schoolgirl Detectives" and "Hyde Jekyll, Me." Following this, she was able to land the highly admired role of Sung Duk-seon in "Reply 1988." The said series was a phenomenon in Korea and Hyeri was widely praised for her performance in the said drama. After the great success of "Reply 1988," Hyeri was then one of the most sought-after leading lady in the industry starring in more dramas namely "Two Cops" and "Miss Lee."

Miss A's Bae Suzy

The same as IU Miss A's Bae Suzy also started her career in the acting industry through the hit drama "Dream High". Following this, Bae Suzy was offered in several dramas as their lead actress like "Uncontrollably Fond," "While You Were Sleeping" and "Vagabond."

Her fellow actress, Choi Kang-hee, has even admired Suzy and praised her talent, stating that if she is to grade the acting skills of Suzy, she will give a "Grade A!"

Another Kpop star who decided to try her fate in the acting business, Tiny-G's pride, Min Do-hee. She first showcased her acting skills when she portrayed the role if Jo Yoon-jin in the drama "Reply 1994," which was considered as her acting debut. Although she posses a heavy accent and was noticed for her 'small but terrible' image, she was able to impress the viewers with her acting performance. She was able to take home the Best New Actress award at the 7th Korea Drama Awards and was also nominated as Best New Actress at 50th Baeksang Arts Awards. Her notable supporting role includes the musical drama, "Cantabile Tomorrow."
