"Record Of Youth" All Set to Premiere Today + Don't Miss The Pilot Episode!
Brand new K-Drama "Record of Youth" is all set to premier today at 21:00 KST on tvN in korea and on Netflix for international fans. The drama is perhaps one of the most anticipated series of this season, and fans can't hold their excitement about seeing Park Bo Gum on screen again.
Record of Youth sees the fantastic collaboration of director Ahn Gil Ho, who has also directed the likes of Watcher, Memories of the Alhambra, Stranger, Mrs. Cop, and Rooftop Prince, and writer Ha Myung Hee, writer to Temperature of Love, Doctors, High Society, among others. This collaboration already raises expectations for the drama.
Besides, this drama comes after Park Bo Gum recently enlisted in the military, increasing fans' hopes even more as the drama will be like a farewell gift to fans while Bo Gum is in the military, working hard for the country. This is also his first drama since Encounter. The drama will ir on Mondays and Tuesdays, starting today, the 7th of September, and will have a total of 16 episodes.
The drama features Park Bo Gum as the male lead Sa Hye Joon who aspires to become an actor but is stuck in a job as a model. He is smart and handsome but also a warm-hearted and sympathetic individual. However, he cannot seem to be able to make it into the acting industry, having lost out at many auditions.
Park So Dam of Parasite fame is the female lead An Jung Ha who works as a makeup artist. She is optimistic and knows a lot of people, but at the end of the day, she's lonely. She quits her job to start as a makeup artist and is the youngest on the team. This is also her first TV role since Cinderella with Four Knights.
The drama also has rookie actor Byeon Woo Seok who rose to popularity with his role in Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency. His character is Won Hae Hyo, who is a model and an actor, but something seems amiss despite his wealthy background and successful career.
