ASTRO Eun Woo, Moon Ga Young, and More Gather at 1st Script Reading for “True Beauty”
True Beauty circles around the girl who looks like a goddess on her campus and almost everyone admires her and wants to be like her. Whenever she approaches a boy, he would ask her number. She is the prettiest girl around.
However, her beauty is concealed by make-up, and only one boy knows her secret. Moreover, as the two become closer, and their relationship grows deeper, they eventually learn to love themselves for who they really are without minding what other people think about them.
On October 12, tvN has released several photos of the upcoming Wednesday-Thursday drama of their first script reading.
True Beauty is based on a popular webtoon with the same title. As previously announced, Moon Ga Young, Cha Eun Woo, and Hwang In Yeob will be playing the lead roles.
According to Moon Ga Young, she felt honored to be a part of this drama, knowing several veteran actors will be part of the series. She added that she would work very hard to make this project a compelling one until the end. Because of Moon's positive vibe around the cast, many were charmed by her determination as she put a lot of effort into bringing life to her character Im Joo Kyung.
The charming Cha Eun Woo even comforted the cast by yearning everyone to stay healthy in these hardened times due to the pandemic and hopes to stay happy until the production ends. After wishing the cast well, he suddenly changes into a cold-hearted character, Lee Su Ho.
When it was Hwang In Yeop time for reading the script, everyone was astonished as to how low his voice was. He will be playing the role Han Seo Joon. Although he maybe a rookie actor, his role will be a very aggressive boy who can sing very well mysteriously.
Actors Park Yoo Na, Park Ho San, Im Se Mi, Oh Eui Sik, Kim Byung Choon and many others who were present in the script reading made it clear that their chemistry is exceptional as if it was it was not the first script reading. Their performances made it easier for the director to get very excited and knowing they create a great chemistry on screen.
Everyone was very professional with how they did the first script reading. Director Kim Sang Hyub, also the producer of the hit series Extraordinary You, was very pleased after the script reading as it gave him have a clearer vision about the drama.
Nonetheless, the cast exceeded the director's expectation. He is really looking forward to a positive outlook on how well this project may go, knowing that a great cast is with him to make this drama a success.
Those present at the script reading applauded the director after delivering his speech and promised to make the production fun and exciting.
After the script reading, the production team concluded that they have established and strengthened the chemistry between Moon Ga Young, Cha Eun Woo, and Hwang In Yeob and even the cast. They even added that the smooth flow and the script's live reading made them lose track of time.
