Kim Soo Hyun Ranks 1st as The Perfect Male Historical and Hanbok Fit Star

Kim Soo Hyun bagged the first place as the perfect male historical and hanbok fit to star in the community poll operated by DC Inside and My Celebs, a company popular on online surveys and forums.

From October 11 to 17, the netizens participated in the online poll administrated by DC Inside and My Celebs, on whose actor is the perfect fit in the hanbok for the sageuk (historical) dramas in Korea. Kim Soo Hyun together with Yoo Ah In, Lee Jun Ki, Cha Eun Woo, Yeo Jin Gu, and others are the actors nominated in the said poll.

On October 19, after almost a week of voting, DC Inside and My Celebs announced that Kim Soo Hyun ranks first. With the accumulated votes of 8,899 out of a total of 27,814 votes or almost 32% of the entire votes.

Kim Soo Hyun most notable acting in as King Lee Hwon in the multi-awarded 2012 historical drama The Moon Embracing the Sun. Kim won three best actor awards with the drama. The actor showed off the elegant and noble way of hanbok fashion that results in the Kim Soo Hyun fever.

Yoo Ah In ranked the second place with the total votes of 8,721 or almost 31% of the entire results. Compare to Kim Soo Hyun who only played in historical dramas once, Yoo Ah In has participated in numerous dramas like Jang Ok-Jung, Living by Love in 2013, Six Flying Dragons in 2015, and the historical film Sado (The Throne) in 2015. In the mentioned historical drama series and movie, Yoo proved his handsomeness and elegance in wearing the hanbok, making the votes between Kim Soo Hyun and his close.

Lee Jun Ki who acted in the movie The King and the Clown in 2005 ranks in the third place. With 3,594 or 13% of the total votes, Lee was praised for his charismatic way of wearing the hanbok every time he appeared in historical dramas.

ASTRO's visual Cha Eun Woo who played as Prince Lee Rim in MBC's Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung in 2019, followed the ranking together with Yeo Jin Goo (Warriors of the Dawn, 2017) and Park Bo Gum (Love in the Moonlight, 2016).

Aside from this, Kim Soo Hyun's milestone will continue after his success in his drama with Seo Ye Ji, It's Ok Not To Be Ok. Kim is expected to join the 2020 Asia Artist Awards together with Seo Ye Ji and Lee Jun Ki.
