Stills of Jo Byeong Gyu and Kim Sejeong's Upcoming OCN Drama Shows Their Undeniable Chemistry
On October 26, Monday, OCN released new stills for Jo Byeong Gyu and Kim Sejeong's upcoming drama, 'Amazing Rumor'. Check out the photos and their undeniable chemistry here!
'Amazing Rumor' tells the story of demon hunting 'counters' that live among the normal citizens, disguised as employees of a noodle restaurant. These demon hunting 'counters' find and defeat demons. The drama will show the battle between the demons that come to Earth for eternal life and the 'counters' that will try to defeat them with their abilities, such as healing and psychometry. 'Amazing Rumor' is based on the Daum webtoon with the same title.
Jo Byeong Gyu will be taking on the role of So Moon, an elite counter. Kim Sejeong, on the other hand, will play Do Ha Na, a human radar who has a 100 percent success rate at detecting evil spirits.
In the stills that were released, So Moon and Do Ha Na show their opposite personalities as they enjoy a meal together. In the middle of their training, they take the time to re-energize themselves and fill their empty stomachs with samgyupsal, also known as pork belly.
So Moon is seen seriously grilling the pork belly to its best potential to have the best meal. After all, what is more important than a meal dinner. Despite the serious expression, So Moon is said to have a bright and lively personality, even with his elite status.
Do Ha Na, on the other hand, is already busy filling up her stomach. In one still, Do Ha Na is seen in the middle of her meal with a flustered face, chopsticks in hands. She is said to be a character that prefers to keep her distance from others and is extremely uncomfortable with any level of skinship.
This causes many to wonder what So Moon must have said to have caused her to look as bewildered as she does. After all, it must be something So Moon had said or done that caused Do Ha Na to react in such a way in the middle of her meal.
Many also wonder how the dynamics between Do Ha Na and So Moon will be when the two are complete opposites. Do Ha Na is serious and shy, while So Moon is lively.
Over this simple still image, the two 'counters' already show off interesting chemistry that is just waiting to develop. Many are now wondering what kind of relationship will grow between them as they go out and defend Earth by defending others from the evil spirits and demons. What kind of relationship will form as they embark on their action-filled adventures?
When talking about the two actors and their relationship through filming, an OCN production team representative said, "Jo Byeong Gyu and Kim Sejeong were both born in 1996. They were able to become friends with each other and work together flawlessly from the first day of filming. They have us anticipating what kind of chemistry they'll show off in the future."
They added, "We hope you look forward to the first broadcast in which the two have put all their energy and passion into and what kind of story will unravel with their explosive chemistry."
"Amazing Rumor" will start airing in November.
