It’s Confirmed! Park Seo Joon Is The New Endorser Of Philippine’s Largest Telecommunications Company
Are you ready Korean drama addicts? We have some big news for you guys! Hold on to your hearts because Smart Communications has recently announced its newest brand ambassador.
After days of teasing, finally, it has been confirmed that heartthrob Park Seo Joon will be joining SMART communications as their brand new endorser. The 31-year old actor, recognized for his recent series "Itaewon Class" has signed a contract with the company following the footsteps of fellow South Korean actors Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin.
In the media preview released, Smart announced that Seo Joon would be endorsing their Giga K-Video initiative in partnership with Asian streaming platform Viu, and line with the telecom's K-Life series.
During the virtual press conference, the executives of smart telco company shared the actor's reaction when he was chosen to be one of its endorsers. They shared that the actor was thrilled and proud when he knows that he will be joining the Smart family alongside Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin. He is well aware of the campaign that the company arranged for the first two Korean stars. Park Seo Joon is also aware of the huge fan base he has in the Philippines.
However, the actor has one request, he asked for the commercials to play up his fun and romantic persona, opposite to the corporate looks of the brand's past TVCs.

In a TVC released for the press, it featured the good looking Seo Joon consoling a young woman who just went through a tough breakup. The woman felt sad until the actor approached her and said, "K lang yan"(that's okay). Everyone was swooned, hearing the actor speaking the Filipino language fluently. Park Seo Joon then cheered the girl up with unlimited K-drama streaming via Smart and Viu's new offering. "Basta may Smart Giga, K-video every day," (As long as there's Smart Giga, you can stream K-videos every day), he says at the end with a charming smile and a swoon-worthy wink.
