Uhm Ji Won Shows the World of Motherhood in the Teaser of tvN's New Drama 'Birthcare Center'
Uhm Ji-Won comes back in acting as she conforms herself in the unfamiliar world of motherhood. The actress will be leading tvN's new drama Birthcare Center with Park Ha-Sun.

Birthcare Center is tvN's upcoming drama starring Uhm Ji-Won and Park Ha-Sun. The eight-part series is about a Hyun-Jin, Uhm-Ji Won's character, the youngest executive member in her company, but the oldest mother in a postpartum care center. Hyun-Jin being a foreigner in the world of motherhood, will be dealing with the adaptations she needed to do in the postpartum care center she's at.
In the teaser released on Oct. 26, Uhm Ji-Won's character, Hyun-Jin, showed the hardships of giving birth and being a mother. When she entered the center, Hyun-Jin does not only need to adapt herself to being a mother, but she also needs to adjust herself to a different condition from the other members of the postpartum center.
On October 26, the same day as their teaser's release, tvN convened an online press conference for their upcoming drama series, Birthcare Center. The drama's main casts revealed that the series is easily accepted by them just right after the first script-reading. Uhm Ji-won and Park Ha-Sun both expressed their excitement about working with each other. Park even stated that she is a little worried because there are so many female casts that they might end up feeling the tension between them, but on her awe, the tension is nowhere to be found.

Uhm Ji-Won stated in the press conference that there are topics that make her worry and curious at the same time. These topics include common motherhood problems such as breast pain when breastfeeding and more. Uhm shared her excitement on how fun and natural did the teamwork on those problems on addressing topics that are not opened up most of the time.
Uhm Ji-Won recently starred in the occult mystery drama series The Cursed with Jeong Ji-Su and Sung Dong-Il. Uhm's character in Birthcare Center has a very big difference from her character in The Cursed. From a serious and thrilling character as a reporter in her recent series, Uhm will be showing her comedic motherly character in Birthcare Center.
Meanwhile, Park Ha-Sun is playing the role of Jo Eun-Jang, tagged as the enters 'Queen Bee' because of her success and knowledge in raising her babies. Jo's collected attitude is the result of being an experienced mother of three. She is also a social media influencer that concentrates on the field of motherhood. These are the things that made her into being an instant queen bee inside the center.

In 2019, Park Ha-Sun starred in the romance-melodrama series Love Affairs in the Afternoon with actor Lee Sang Yeob. Her daring personality in the said series is expected to turn into a charming mother in Birthcare Center.
