The filming of the drama's scenes starts with Go Ara and Kim Joo Heon at the movie theater for their date. As seen in the BTS shoot, Kim Joo Heon can't contain his laughter at Go Ara's energetic personality. She even catches him off guard with her realistic screams during filming. While taking a break from filming, Go Ara jokingly express how he held her hand too tightly, and he immediately asked sorry with sheepish laughter.

"Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol" is a romantic-comedy drama series that tells the story about the positive and lively pianist named Goo Ra-ra played by Go Ara. One day something happened to her that made her financially unstable. She is left with nothing and was completely bankrupt, because of her situation, she becomes very frustrated with her life. Then one day she meets Sunwoo Joon (Lee Jae-Wook) at the small private piano academy LaLa Land in a country village. Sunwoo Joon is a peculiar, compassionate man. He doesn't care about what other people think of him and doesn't have a specific dream or goal for his life. He makes a living by working part-time jobs.

This drama is helmed by director Kim Min-kyung and penned by screenwriter Oh Ji-young, who also wrote Shopaholic Louis (2016) and My Secret, Terrius (2018). Initially the drama was scheduled to premiere on August 26, 2020. But since one of the cast member Heo Dong-won was tested positive for COVID-19, KBS halted all production activities until further notice to follow the health protocols. After the drama's cast members and crew tested negative, the series resumed filming on September 1, 2020.
"Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol" was aired on October 7 and currently airs every Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 p.m. KST.
