Korean Media Outlets Criticized for Revealing Ji Sun's Mother's Last Letter to Public Before They Were Found Dead

Korean reporters and media outlets revealed the letter to the public, although the family pleaded to keep it private.
As reported yesterday (November 2), Park Ji Sun and her mother were found dead at their home in Seoul. This unfortunate news quickly made headlines, and different media outlets have made reports of the comedian's unexpected death. Currently, a lot of Korean personalities and celebrities are mourning the passing of the late comedian.
The Seoul Mapo Police Station yesterday received a report from the concerned father of Park Ji Sun stating that he couldn't contact his wife and daughter, both of which are not responding to his calls. It is said that the father is living separately from Jisun and her mother.
According to reports, in the location where the dead bodies were found, there was a memo of one notebook that is believed to have been left by her mother that is speculated to be her last will.
Park Ji Sun's bereaving family had pleaded that they want to keep the content of the letter in private and they don't want it to be divulged. Sad to say, various reporters and media outlets were quick to release the said letter's content. This resulted in anger for a lot of netizens. The general public criticizes those reporters and the media outlets who have published the letter for being "unprofessional."
As a respect for the wishes of Park Jisun's family, Kdramastars will not reveal the content of the letter.
Park Ji Sun has been appearing in different events until mid-last month. Then on October 23, she reportedly underwent an operation which the cause was not revealed. On the day of the operation, she even updated one media outlet stating that it is just a minor surgery, so everyone shouldn't feel worried about it and said that November would be dedicated to recovery. However, after that, outside activities were cut off.
Both the deceased bodies do not have clear clues as to what the cause of death is, but the police were reported to be pointing out the possibility of poisoning.
Park Ji Sun is a graduate of Korea University's Department of Education and started her career as a public comedian in 2007 for the 22nd KBS, and because of her amazing talent, she won the entertainment industry. In the comedy category at the KBS Entertainment Awards, Park Jisun bagged the Rookie of the Year award in her first year of debut. She also worked as a radio DJ, and in 2012 he received the SBS Entertainment Awards as a radio DJ. During her time working in the entertainment industry, Park Jisun was able to take home awards for her talent as an entertainer.
