N.Flying Member Kim Jae Hyun to Star in a New Japanese Drama
According to Sports TV News, Kim Jae Hyun, a member of the K-pop boy group N.Flying will be starring in a Japanese drama.
Japan's Nihon TV confirmed that N.Flying's Kim Jae Hyun will be a part of the new Sunday drama "With You on the Day the World Ends." It is about an automobile mechanic named Hibiki Mamiya, who will be played by Japanese actor Ryoma Takeuchi. He is a young man with a warm and bright personality. Ayami Nakajo will be Kurumi Ogasawara, the beloved girlfriend of Hibiki. The guy plans to propose to his girlfriend, but on the day he proposes to Kurumi, an accident occurs - he slides off in a tunnel and gets trapped for days.
After four days, he was able to survive and escape from the accident. He tried to look for Kurumi, but he realized that he was in a different world. No people, traffic lights are destroyed, and there are stains of blood on the streets.
Meanwhile, Kim Jae Hyun will take the role of a survivor named Yoon Min Joon, a kind-hearted Korean who does not speak a lot. He lives in a world where Hibiki found himself after the accident happened. This will be Kim Jae Hyun's first Japanese drama, and many fans are waiting for him to act on screen.
The idol also shared that after taking a break from activities as an N.Flying member, he has been busy working in Japan for his upcoming drama. He said, "This project is a good opportunity for me to keep myself busy during this difficult time, I will also do my best to give you happiness and will work hard to meet you again (pertaining to fans) with a healthy mind and body."
"With You on the Day the World Ends" is set to premiere in January next year (2021) at Nihon TV. The second season of the said drama is scheduled to be released through Hulu (a streaming site in Japan).
Kim Jae Hyun is not just an idol but is also an actor. He started from supporting roles in the dramas "Modern Farmer," "88 Street," and "Sisters in Law." He also had his first lead role in the series "Big Picture House," where he played Gong Sung Woo's character. The drama is about five different youths who failed to have their debut as idols. They are living together in a shared house and unfold their stories about dreams and love.
The drama "Big Picture House" tells us that failure does not define us, for our perseverance and hard work are the keys to pursue and reach all our dreams.
