Among all the Korean dynasties, the most popular and widely used in dramas is the Joseon Dynasty. To name a few, Moon Embracing The Sun, Love in the Moonlight, Legend of the Blue Sea, and many others have successfully captured the hearts of many, especially with their great storyline. Also, the portrayal of the actors and actresses were spectacular.

What is it with the Joseon Dynasty that makes people gush, and the audience fall in love? Of course, it's pretty obvious - the cinematography, pristine setting of the place wherein most people live in the mountains, and most of all, there's no traffic jams! It also allows people to see a glimpse of how the Korean royal family lived and even feel like they're a part of it. To top it off, the costumes are not only extravagant but culture-filled.

Well, if you are a fan of historical dramas, you better mark your calendar for KBS's upcoming drama "Secret Royal Inspector." Continue reading below to see the main cast's individual poster and how stunning they look!

He is tasked to get rid of public officials' illegal acts and corruption as there has been so much corruption happening.

Dressed as a civilian, he goes around town hearing stories from different people, trying to get a hint to catch those involved in the corruption. Kwon Na Ra as Hong Da-In and Lee Yi Kyung as Park Chun-Sam will be his allies in this secret mission to help him with his job.

Disguised as a courtesan trained in music and the arts, or as gisaeng, Hong Da-In will join Sung Yi-Gyeom in their undercover mission to fight the provinces' illegal activities. In the poster, you can see how half of her face is covered like some sort of a mystery. Yet her bold look surely tells the audience that her role is bad-ass and ready to kick-ass. Surely, Kim Myung Soo alongside Kwon Nara is something the audience will look forward to. Their one-of-a-kind teamwork will definitely make the audience watch this drama.

To play as Sung Yi Kyum's servant and right-hand, Lee Yi Kyung will certainly bring humor to this drama. Just by looking at his poster, he smiles candidly. His role as Park Chun-Sam will be talkative and funny, yet he is affectionate and easily cries. His bright and energetic role will eventually capture the hearts of many, not to mention, he will do anything for the sake of his master.

Additionally, Lee Tae Hwan will play as Sung Yi Beom. He will be Sung Yi-Gyeom's younger stepbrother, whose mother is a slave, and will take a stand against his older stepbrother.

"Secret Royal Inspector" will premiere on Dec. 21 at 9:30 p.m. Stay tuned for more updates.
