The soon-to-premiere KBS2TV's historical drama "Secret Royal Inspector" shared some stills of its lead actress Kwon Nara starring as Hong Da In!
Set towards the end of the Joseon era, "Secret Royal Inspector" will revolve its story on the character of Sung Yi Kyum (Kim Myung Soo), who topped the state examination and now works at the Hongmungwan (administrative and research department). He is free-spirited who doesn't have goals or ambitions in life. One day, he was caught doing an illegal act. As a punishment, he was given the position of a secret royal inspector.
During the Joseon Dynasty, a Secret Royal Inspector is appointed by the king to be his eyes and ears. They travel to provinces in disguise to investigate abuses and corruption of government officials.
Now with a new job, Sung Yi Kyum sets out to do his task with Hong Da-In (Kwon Na Ra) and Park Chun-Sam (Lee Yi Kyung). Park Chun Sam is Sung Yi Kyum's most trusted right hand. He is talkative, affectionate, and tearful. Another cast is Sung Yi Beom (Lee Tae Hwan), the younger stepbrother of Sung Yi-Gyeom. He was born to form a nobleman, but his mother is a slave. And because of his mother's low social status, he is stripped off from having certain opportunities. He denounces his older stepbrother Sung Yi Kyum.

Meanwhile, Kwon Na Ra will portray the role of Hong Da In. She is a beautiful damo (a woman who works in a Joseon government office). She is a talented girl who is skilled in writing, painting, dancing, and martial arts. She was also born from royalty but was forced to hide her real identity due to her family's tragic history. Her current mission is to work as an undercover gisaeng (a courtesan trained to entertain men through music and the arts), and then she crosses paths with Sung Yi Kyum. Both characters will eventually work together to fight for justice together. Through this process, they will show growth and change.

In the newly released photos from the drama, Hong Da In (Kwon Na Ra) transforms into a man to fulfill her mission. The spark in her eyes exhibits her determination with her assignment. Also, as a government official, she is known to be even stronger than most men. She is brave enough to throw herself in harm's way if her mission calls for it.

Comparing the similarities between Hong Da In and Kwon Na Ra's personalities, the actress expressed that she thinks that they are somehow the same in a way because both of them are typically cheerful and mischievous; however, when they are serious about something, they become entirely committed to it. Kwon Na Ra also added that she wants to become as brave and courageous as Hong Da In in reality.
