Meet the New Comic Trio in the Upcoming Drama 'Mr.Queen': Kim Jung Hyun, Lee Jae Won, and Yoo Min Kyu
New stills for the upcoming tvN drama "Mr.Queen" reveals its new cast and the story that will unfold when the series finally begins. The historical drama is about a man from the modern era whose soul gets trapped in the body of a queen in the Joseon dynasty.
Actress Shin Hye Sun will be playing the character of Kim So Yong. She is the queen with the soul of Jang Bong Hwan, a chef who works in the Blue House. Actor Kim Jung Hyun will be King Cheoljong, he may be weak and ineffective on the outside, but he is a strong and brilliant king on the inside.
In the newly released images King Cheoljong is interestingly having a conversation with his old friend Hong Byul Gam (Lee Jae Won) and his half brother and top military officer Young Pyeong Goon (Yoo Min Kyu). As the only people who knew King Cheoljang's secret, they will be the comic trio in the upcoming drama. They are expected to show good chemistry towards each other and they will also play an interesting role in the drama.
Expect a lot of bromance in the drama!

Hong Byul Gam is known for his frank words and straightforward actions. He also has excellent skills in martial arts and is the messenger and source of information within the palace.
Young Pyeong is the right hand of Cheoljong and is always at the king's side. As a military officer, he is in charge of protecting King Cheoljong. He is also open to lend his ear to the king as he always listens to his words.

In the photos where King Cheoljong is talking to one of his people with a mockingly soft smile, it makes everyone curious to see what kind of relationship they are going to have for the drama. They are the new comic trio that you should look forward to.
One of the production's team members shared, "King Cheoljong, Hong Byul Gam, and Young Pyeong Goon will be working together to achieve a common goal inside the palace where no one is to be trusted." The member also added, "Their diverse teamwork will make a new interesting story to the viewers. Please look forward to what goal they are aiming for, as well as how the queen's situation will affect their plans."
