On Dec. 18, reports are circulating that the actor was offered to star in the OCN drama "Island." His agency Plum A&C gave responded to the said news and stated that the drama is one project that the actor has been offered, and as of the moment, Im Si Wan is still reviewing the offer. OCN also gave their statement confirming that the actor was offered a role in the drama and that his appearance is already being discussed.

Aside from his acting career, Im Si Wan is widely recognized for the film The Attorney (2013) and the cable series Misaeng: Incomplete Life (2014), both of which are famous in the box office and ratings.
In 2012, Im Si Wan starred in the period drama Moon Embracing the Sun (2012) and portrayed the role of the young version of Heo Yeom.
