NU’EST’s Minhyun Gives Viewers Heart Fluttering Moments in His Latest Drama ‘Live On’
Hwang Minhyun puts the viewers on cloud nine with his charismatic portrayal in the drama "Live On." The JTBC's romance school drama continues to gain high ratings with its amazing and talented cast.
"Live On," tells the story of a perfectionist student head of highschool's broadcasting club named Go Eun Taek, played by Hwang Minhyun. Jung Da Bin is Baek Ho Rang, a celebrity student and a social media influencer who joins the broadcasting club because she is looking for someone who is anonymously exposing her behind her back.
In spite of his stiff and cold appearance, Go Eun Taek also has a soft side that he intentionally hides. He also comforts the people who are having problems.
Go Eun Taek's portrayal goes beyond the expectation of others that even his lines give the viewers butterflies in their stomach while watching the drama.
"Sometimes, a change can lead to good things"
Even before Baek Ho Rang entered his life, Go Eun Taek diligently followed his scheduled routine. Eve the time of his waking hours were scheduled, and it already became a normal thing for him. When Baek Ho Rang finally arrived in his life, his normal schedule got interrupted and it did not feel the same anymore. Then Go Eun Taek realized that her presence was somehow a good thing and it had positively influenced him. Even though many unordinary things had happened to him, those changes led him to be the better version of himself.

In the recent episode of "Live On," there was a scene where Baek Ho Rang is being comforted by Go Eun Taek, and viewers find it heartwarming that a cold and aloof guy is giving a message of hope to one of his friends. Hwang Minhyun's sincere and thoughtful gestures, and heartfelt tone gave justice to Go Eun Taek's character.
"When you develop enough trust in me, and you feel a sense of comfort in showing me everything, then I fully became part of your life."
In a scene where Go Eun Taek is with Baek Ho Rang, they were empathizing and understanding each other's feelings. He became patient and considerate until she already felt comfortable in sharing all her problems with him. The scene showed a good way of respecting her sentiments, making it clear to the viewers just how much he cared about her feelings. It did not just make Baek Ho Rang's feeling comfortable, but also the viewers as well.
The good chemistry between Hwang Minhyun and Jung Da Bin is what the audience is looking forward to. Their genuine feelings towards each other are giving the viewers a lot of heart-fluttering moments. Hwang Minhyun did not just capture the heart of his fans by performing live on stage, but he also proved that he is a good actor who can influence others.
