N.Flying Kim Jae Hyun to Star as Lead in WAVVE's 'Half-Fifty'
Kim Jae Hyun is back to the small screen!
According to Sport TV News, N.Flying member Kim Jae Hyun will star as the lead role in the upcoming drama "Half-Fifty," which will be launched under WAVVE.
"Half-Fifty" is about the people who are in their half-fifty aged (25 years old) young people who are worrying about their future, but found themselves entering the world of YouTubers.
The 26-year-old idol and actor will play the character of a college student intern named Cha Jin Woo. He is a guy with contemptuous charm who doesn't want to stay in peace and order with others. Jin Woo has a strong perspective in life. He also hides a romantic side.
With a genre of romantic-comedy, Kim Jae Hyun is expecting to impose his distinctive and charming acting performance that will depict a bright and positive energy in the drama.
Meanwhile, Kim Jae Hyun has also been reported to star in a Japanese drama "With You on the Day the World Ends," which is set to air in January next year (2021). Japan's Nihon TV confirmed that Kim Jae Hyun will be part of the new Sunday drama.
The story is about an automobile mechanic named Hibiki Mamiya, who will be played by Japanese actor Ryoma Takeuchi. Hibiki is a young man with a warm and positive personality. Ayami Nakajo will play the role of Kurumi Ogasawara, the long-time girlfriend of Hibiki. The guy is planning to propose to his soon to be fiance, but on the day where he plans to do it, an accident happens - where he slides off in a tunnel and gets trapped for days.
Kim Jae Hyun will be playing the character of a survivor named Yoon Min Joon, who is kind-hearted Korean that does not speak a lot. He is living in a world where Hibiki found himself after the accident occured.
New acting projects are coming its way to Kim Jae Hyun, after he debuted as an actor in the year 2014, he managed to balance being in front of the camera and performing on stage with his group mates.
He does not just excel in being an idol who can capture the hearts of thousands of his fans, but he is also showing the artistic side of his skills in acting through various projects, it may be small or big, for Jae Hyun it is still an opportunity for him to be immersed himself in the industry of acting. Such a talented guy!
The drama "Half-Fifty" will be released first through WAVVE on Dec. 23.
