Yeo Jin Goo Receives a Sweet Gift From IU
Here's another proof the genuine friendship between "Hotel Del Luna" stars Yeo Jin Goo and IU!
Yeo Jin Goo is presently filming a new psychological with JTBC titled "Monster" along with Shin Ha Kyun. The story is about two men who are willing to break the rules, even the law, in their pursuit of finding a notorious serial killer. To find the killer's identity, they must carefully and meticulously look deeper at the hidden personalities of the people involved in the case, repetitively asking themselves, "Who could be the real monster?"
Shin Ha Kyun will be playing the character of Lee Dong Shik, a former detective who has been dismissed from doing menial work at a local police station. He has had a quiet and ordinary life before, but his life started to change after he met Han Joo Won, the character of Yeo Jin Goo, who is a highly competent detective and has almost everything. They will become partners who will help solve the case from 20 years ago about an incident of serial killings that had happened in their village.
They were both excited and thrilled about the story that it made them accept the project.
Meanwhile, with Yeo Jin Goo's busy schedule, one of his co-star in the drama "Hotel Del Luna" and close friend IU sent a snack truck on the film set of his ongoing shoot for the drama "Monster."
On Dec. 22, the actor posted on his Instagram account a photo of himself standing in front of a snack truck that made buns with red bean filling. There was also a banner included that said, "My special and precious Yeo Jin Goo, don't get sick and fighting! - Boss," since IU was literally his boss in their 2019 drama, "Hotel Del Luna."
Another photo showed the actor pouting his lips adorably in front of the snack truck was also posted with a message saying, "I want to eat the red bean buns by myself."
But wait there's more!
IU being the generous friend that she is, also sent a coffee truck and Jin Goo proudly made a pose in front of it. It has a banner that reads, "This is for Joo Won," the actor's character in the drama "Monster."
The banner also reads, "Good luck to everyone on the 'Monster' team! - From IU," and another banner consists of a cute selfie of IU and Yeo Jin Goo with a message that said, "Way to go, the staff of 'Monster!'"
On the other hand, Yeo Jin Goo responded to IU's banner through his post's caption saying, " Special and precious Yeo Jin Goo is full of energy from coffee and red bean buns. I will make sure to stay healthy. Thank you. You are so great, boss, hehe."
What a sweet friendship indeed! The drama "Monster" is scheduled to air in February 2021.
