Ju Ji Hoon Parted Ways with KeyEast and Signs Exclusive Contract with New Agency
New year, new start for the "Kingdom" star Ju Ji Hoon. He had officially left KeyEast agency.
H& Entertainment confirmed on Jan 4. that actor Ju Ji Hoon signed an exclusive contract with them. H& Entertainment was established by Hong Min-Ki, who used to be the vice president of KeyEast. Ju Ji Hoon and Hong Min-Ki have been working together since 2011, so they have already built a strong friendship through the years.
Hong Min Ki's agency expressed their gratitude towards Ju Ji Hoon for trusting his future with them, "We are happy to welcome Ju Ji Hoon at H& Entertainment. Ju Ji Hoon is known for his amazing acting skills that made him gain many fans beyond Asia. We are proud of his unique charm through his various projects, and now we are here to give him the best support throughout his career."
Ju Ji Hoon started to grow as an actor in the movies "Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds" and "Along With the Gods: The Last 49 Days," and continuously succeeded in hitting the box office with some of his previous films. Because his acting skills had matured, the actor kept showcasing his strong presence on-screen by adding different colors to the characters he portrayed.
Following his amazing movie projects, Ju Ji Hoon also captivated the audience with his previous dramas like "Hyena," wherein he played the character of a lawyer named Yoon Hee Jae. His charismatic and sophisticated charm received high praises from the viewers. He also shocked women's hearts by unfolding a pure love for his on-screen partner Kim Hye Soo. The actor also won the Best Actor award for this drama.
The 38-year-old actor also surpassed the high expectations of many through his Netflix's original series "Kingdom," which also gained an appreciation for being a great drama. His role as a strong and fearless fighter Lee Chang is different from his previous characters. With his explicit performance, Ju Ji Hoon has won several awards for the series which is also reported to be returning on-screen with its third season.
Meanwhile, Ju Ji Hoon is busy working with his upcoming drama "Jiri Mountain" together with actress Jun Ji Hyun. It is a mystery drama that will tell the story of people who climb and go through the unexplored area of Mount Jiri, which is also known as the largest mountain on the South Korean mainland. This upcoming drama will be penned by writer Kum Eun Hye who also participated in the hit Netflix series "Kingdom."
The avid viewers of Korean dramas are already anticipating the forthcoming mystery series. It also excites them knowing that two of the biggest stars in South Korea will be working together on one project.
