Shin Hye Sun and Kim Jung Hyun to Face Intense Moments in 'Mr. Queen' Upcoming Episode
Historical and romance drama "Mr. Queen" gave the public something to look forward to after showing the Shin Hye Sun and Kim Jung Hyun's tension-filled scenes in the upcoming episode.
"Mr. Queen" is a Korean drama remake of the Chinese web series "Go Princess Go." The Korean drama tells a story about a modern-day man named Jang Bong Hwan who works as a chef in the President's Blue house.
One day, Jang Bong Hwan loses his job after a fish hook was found in the meal he prepared for the Chinese envoy. As investigators speculate that it was a case of food corruption, Jang Bong Hwan tries to escape the police, allowing him to fall off a high building into a pool of water and drown.
Jang Bong Hwan then finds himself waking up inside the body of Queen Kim So Yong, portrayed by actress Shin Hye Sun, in the Joseon period. As Jang Bong Hwan lives a completely different life as a woman and a queen, Jang Bong Hwan figures out ways to bring him back to his own life.
In the previous episodes, Queen Kim So Yong and King Cheoljong's relationship starts to blossom. It also shows political experiences occurring in the palace, especially on how Queen Sunwon, portrayed by Bae Jong Ok, keeps a close watch on King Cheoljong.
According to the drama, many of the next episodes will show Kim So Yong and King Cheljongs having odd moments with Jo Hwa Jin, portrayed by Seol In Ah, and Kim Byung In, portrayed by Na In Woo, whose job is to protect the queen.
The show has been receiving positive reviews due to its one of a kind and humorous storyline.
The stills that show a glimpse of the future episodes features Kim So Yong, King Cheoljong, Jo Hwa Jin, and Kim Byung In attending a banquet. Despite the happy celebration, tension among them is apparent.
Jo Hwa Jin, filled with jealousy, aims her arrow at Kim So Yong, putting the queen in grave danger. Kim So Yong, on the other hand, looks surprised after seeing something before her eyes.
Other stills show the fierce dispute between King Cheljong and Kim Byung In while participating in the banquet games. Both are seen stiff with the tension as Kim Byung In shows an interest in Kim So Yong.
The production team of the drama shared, "A key point in the second half of the drama is the change in King Cheoljong." He will begin his steps officially to restore royal authority. At the banquet, there will also be a critical moment that will mark a turning point in the plot.
With the thrilling changes of Kim So Yong and King Cheoljong, as well as the fluctuation of the drama, the second half of the drama will open up with the thrilling changes and character developments within the characters.
