Kim So Hyun & Ji Soo Make Hearts Flutter in New Stills for 'River Where The Moon Rises'
The upcoming "River Where the Moon Rises" dropped new stills, featuring the undeniable chemistry of main leads, Kim So Hyun and Ji Soo. This makes us anticipate the drama even more!
"River Where the Moon Rises" will be starred by talented actors namely Kim So Hyun, Ji Soo, Lee Ji Hoon, and Choi Yu Hwa. It is a drama remake of the 2010 novel Princess Pyeonggang by film director and screenwriter, Choi Sagyu.
Scheduled to premiere on the KBS2 network after "Royal Secret Agent" conclusion, February 15, the series will take the Monday and Tuesday time slot.
The drama is a reinterpretation of a classic Goguryeo folk tale, "River Where the Moon Rises," and it will tell the love story of Princess Pyeonggang (portrayed by Kim So Hyun) and On Dal (Ji Soo).
Pyeonggang is also known as Yeom Ga Jin, who is born a princess and raised as a soldier. She is a woman who is very ambitious and has big dreams, and is determined to become the first female leader of Goguryeo. She will do everything to make her dreams come true.
However, she knows it won't be easy. She's aware of the obstacles that stand her way and with her meticulous planning, she sets out to pursue her goals.
One day, she meets On Dal and this is when things take an unexpected turn. On Dal is a peace-loving man who only wants to live his life with peace and harmony. He is the complete opposite of the ambitious princess Pyeonggang. Falling deeply in love with the princess, On Dal eventually finds himself forsaking his principles in order to keep her safe.
The newly released stills of the drama feature the unexpected meeting of Pyeonggang and On Dal. One photo shows Pyeonggang's expression as she looks dazed and confused by something, while On Dal looks calm as he is smiling brightly with his teasing eyes as he looks at her.
The next photo shows how Pyeonggang for an unknown reason falls on top of On Dal. They only have little space between them, which makes our hearts aflutter!
Both their faces are near each other with just inches apart and which made them feel shocked. One moment they have a playful encounter and the next scene made our hearts skip a beat!
Viewers are now even more eager to discover more about their unique love story.
The drama's production crew was very vocal in praising the actors stating that both Kim So Hyun and Ji Soo are showing exceptional chemistry by bringing Pyeonggang and On Dal characters to life. The perfect synergy that the two actors bring on set, making the crew very excited.
Production team is asking the viewers to please look forward to witnessing how they will portray the love between Pyeonggang and On Dal, who will be entangled with numerous events.
