SF9’s Rowoon is Making a Huge Progress Towards his Career of Being an Actor
Idol turned actor Rowoon is continuously growing in different industries. Being involved in a fast paced environment helped him honed a lot of skills that he is now confident to show in front of many.
The 24-year-old artist started his journey in the industry of music and acting as a member of the famous K-pop boy group SF9 and in a web drama "Click Your Heart" in 2016. A year later, he starred in "School 2017" and in "Where Stars Land" in 2018.
Through these projects he was able to show endless potential and luckily got his first lead role in the romantic drama "Extraordinary You" in 2019, where he played the character of Haru. Where he showed an impressive performance, in fact he won the Best New Actor in 2019 MBC Drama Award.
Rowoon also once said in one of his interviews that he used to read the script from the perspective of Haru rather than Rowoon, he fully immersed himself through his character during the filming of the drama "Extraordinary You". His character way back then gave him the opportunity to explore more on what things he can add to in order to improve his acting in portraying his roles. With various characters that he played, Rowoon became more professional when it comes to acting. Plus, his presence captivated the hearts of the audience.

Rowoon's hard work has finally paid off, he started with supporting roles, and now, he was able to play as the main lead in his previous and ongoing project. Rowoon is currently playing the role of a junior marketer in JTBC's newest drama "She Would Never Know" as Chae Hyun Seung. He is expected to show another notable acting through his new character.
He is also in talks to play in a new historical drama "Yeonmo" alongside actress Park Eun Bin. But according to his agency, his priority is his current drama "She Would Never Know." Rowoon is still reviewing the offer for it will be another exciting project for him in the future.

Aside from performing on stage and acting on the small screen, Rowoon's stunning visuals also conquer the pages of some of the fashion magazines in Korea. With his amazing figure, Rowoon is perfectly fit to be a model. He is one of the rising actors in the industry for his versatility, many were looking up to him as he is already starting to embark on a new exciting journey in his career.
