Kim Young Dae to Possibly Star in Upcoming Drama ‘School 2021’ alongside WEi’s Kim Yo Han
"The Penthouse" actor Kim Young Dae is in talks to star in the forthcoming drama "School 2021."
According to a report on Feb 15, rising star and "Extraordinary You" actor Kim Young Dae will be joining the main cast of KBS1's newest series "School 2021." After the news circulated online, the actor's home agency released their statement regarding their artist.
According to them "Our artist Kim Young Dae received an offer to star in KBS2's new drama 'School 2021' and he is currently reviewing the offer." Previously, it has been announced and confirmed that WEI member and "A Love So Beautiful" actor Kim Yo Han will be playing the role of the main lead.
Kim Young Dae and Kim Yo Han in One Project
If given the chance and Kim Young Dae accepts the project offer, he will be joining Kim Yo Han as also one of the male leads. "School 2021" is scheduled to kick off in the month of August this year. "School 2021" is a campus drama that will tell the story of students at a vocational high school. All the things about their life and growth as an individual are some of the key points to look forward to in the series.
Kim Yo Han will be portraying the character of Kim Tae Jin, a former Taekwondo player who won a bronze medal during the National Athletics Competition. But unfortunately, he will encounter an unexpected event in his life and make him experience a serious ankle injury. During this difficult time in his career, Tae Jin will also encounter another problem. His father's business went bankrupt.

Due to unfortunate events, Tae Jin decided to quit taekwondo and entered the vocational high school. Even though he has a mature personality for his age, he is not confident enough to face other people especially in front of the girl that he likes. Meanwhile, Na Geum Young (no confirmed actor yet) is also a student in the vocational high school who is in the second grade. She dreams of becoming a YouTube vlogger. Geum Yong is studying cooking at the vocational school. Further details about the drama are yet to be announced.

On the other hand, idol-turned-actor Kim Yo Han is currently starring in the Korean adaptation of the popular Chinese series "A Love So Beautiful." He is playing the role of Cha Heon, a perfect student and a face genius in their school.
After his consecutive drama projects in 2020 the 24-year-old actor Kim Young Dae will be returning in the second season of the smashing hint drama "The Penthouse." These two young artists are in line to do another interesting work that will surely give lots of inspiring real life events especially to the youth.
