'Mine' Update: New Teaser and Stills Dropped + Star Lee Bo Young Talks 'Interesting' Role

There are some new great upgrades on tvN's upcoming weekend drama "Mine." Some stills and a new teaser dropped, where Lee Bo Young talked about her quite puzzling role as a mom.

A new teaser has dropped and it leads to more questions than answers, which is good, because it gets people to watch.

The clip opens up with the character played by Lee Bo Young, Seo Hee Soo, enjoying a cup of tea while seemingly reminiscing about her good life. She looks like she has a good husband, a cute child, a nice home, and an overall nice life. Then fans can hear her making a voice-over, saying, "The only reason why my life shines."

However, for some strange reason, everything is going backwards - showing how things are not what it seems. Tender hearts hold cold secrets, nice relationships are not genuine.

Towards the end, her smile diminishes, and a sad voice-over can be heard, stating, "Is everything in front of me really mine?"

Apart from the teaser, new stills have dropped, showing the actress looking like a very confident, satisfied, and contented mom. In other words, she looks like an accomplished woman who got everything she wants - a nice life and a nice family.

But the teaser would hint that photos can be quite deceiving.

"Mine," reportedly revolves around the story of strong and ambitious women who overcome the world's prejudices in order to become their genuine selves.

Lee Bo Young plays Seo Hee Soo, an ex-top actress and the daughter-in-law of the second son of Hyo Won Group.

Apart from Lee Bo Young, fans can enjoy seeing Kim Seo Hyung here, who plays Jung Seo Hyun, the daughter-in-law of the eldest son of Hyo Won Group.

Han Ji Yong (Lee Hyun Wook) plays Seo Hee Soo's husband, who is the second son of Hyo Won Group.

During a trip, Seo Hee Soo and Han Ji Yong fatefully met and fell in love with each other. He already has a son, but Seo Hee Soo did not mind. She chose to raise the kid as her own and starts living life as part of a chaebol family, which just means very wealthy and very established.

This is where the issues would arise. First, she isn't treated well by those who look down on her and are very jealous of what she was able to attain for herself. She becomes an outsider in the elite world, but despite the mistreatment, she gets from others, she strives to be genuine and true.

Soompi was able to get some insights about the role from the actress herself. According to Lee Bo Young, the script really interested her because it is unlike everything she has done in the past. She describes Seo Hee Song as an honest and unpretentious woman and does not hide her thoughts.

She also talked about Seo Hee Soo being a good mother despite raising a child who is not hers. She said motherly love is one that is without prejudice, based on her own experience.

"I am a mother with children, and there is something I realized while working on my previous work 'Mother.' It is that motherly love is also about giving birth to your children, but it is more related to raising them," she. shared. "I think the time you spend with your child and the moments you grow with them are very important," she added.
