‘River Where the Moon Rises’ Episode 19: Kim So Hyun & Na In Woo to Overthrow Kwon Hwa Woon
King Pyeongwon (Kwon Hwa Woon) will do everything to punish the ones against him, even if one of them is the person who has the same blood that runs through him.
Princess Pyeonggang Saved General Go Gun from Cruel King Yeongyang
Princess Pyeonggang (Kim So Hyun) helped General Go Gun (Lee Hi Joon) escape from the King's plan to kill him. She escorted him and Lady Hae Mo Yong (Choi Yu Hwa) to the secret path inside the palace that connects to a passage to another tribe outside Goguryeo.
King Yeongyang (Kwon Hwa Woon) heard the news that his sister, Pyeonggang, helped his mortal enemy escape death. He put the princess behind bars.
Kim Pyung Ji (Ahn Shin Woo), one of the palace's trusted servants, was shocked about the king's decision. He reminded King Yeongyang that the late King Pyeongwon (Kim Pub Lae) made the same mistake of doubting his people, and advised Yeongyang to not do the same thing to save the kingdom of Goguryeo.

Meanwhile, Go Gun went to Silla Kingdom and paid a visit to King Jinheung (Kim Seung Su). The general said his intentions. Go Gun wanted to borrow 10,000 men from King Jinheung to fight against King Pyeongwon. He promised to get the whole Kingdom of Goguryeo, and in turn, put it under the ruling of Jinheung.
The king trusted Go Gun's plan, and instead of 10,000 soldiers, he lent him 30,000 soldiers to take revenge.
Pyeongwon also learnt that his sister made an alliance with On Dal to take revenge on him. On the other hand, the princess didn't know that his brother would know about it.
To fulfill his plan to take On Dal on his side and help him kill General Go Gun, Pyeongwon put his sister as bait.
Unexpected Alliance between Former Rivals
After knowing that Princess Pyeonggang will executed, On Dal rushed to the palace to see her. Prior to heading to Goguryeo, On Dal made plans on how he could let the princess escape. He was able to free Pyeonggang and is now ready to fight King Pyeongwon.
