'Imitation' Drama Drops New Posters, Jung Ji So Looks Like a Doll

"Imitation," the upcoming KBS drama is certainly driving up the excitement of fans by releasing not just one, but five new breathtaking character posters.

"Imitation" New Posters Dropped

"Imitation," the drama that is based on the hit webtoon of the same name, is quite star-studded, which makes it highly anticipated. The story will revolve around the colorful lives of idols in a very competitive Korean entertainment industry, so there would certainly be a lot of drama involved.

The upcoming show's cast includes the likes of Jung Ji So, Lee Jun Young, from U-KIss, Yunho from ATEEZ, Seonghwa, San, and Jongho, the ex-member of I.O.I and PRISTIN Lim Nayoung.

The show will also feature SF9's Hwiyoung and Chani, g.o.d.'s Danny Ahn, Yuri, Minseo, Boys' Republic's Suwoong, among others. In fact, Ahn Jung Hoon and former Baby V.O.X member Shim Eun Jin are also going to be part of it. To say that this would have more idols working together than usual is an understatement.

The show is truly around the corner since new posters have now been released. Each poster features each of the cast members. Since there are only five out, it remains to be seen if more will be released.

Jung Ji So Looks Like a Doll

Jung Ji So in her poster looks like a living doll ready to chase her dreams. In her poster, she was staring ahead with a resolute gaze and arms outstretched as if ready to take off. She will be portraying a talented dancer named Ma Ha, who is the center of the up-and-coming girl group Tea Party.

"Although I'm an imitation right now, I dream of becoming the real deal," the poster's statement reads, hinting that Jung Ji So will be playing someone on the cusp of their dreams and not letting anything hold them back to be successful, without losing her real self. Apart from Jung Ji So, U-Kiss' Lee Jun Young also has his poster.

Playing the kind-hearted and sometimes clumsy Kwon Ryoc, who is the talented center of the top boy band SHAX, the poster shows the actor looking ahead, as if dreaming of more things to achieve. Or, dreaming of Ma Ha, for the matter. The text on his poster reads, "For me who is the best, I only have one need, and that is you," highlighting his love for someone, most likely Ma Ha.

The three other posters are of T-ara's Jiyeon sa La Ri Ma, ATEEZ's Yunho as Lee Yoo Jin and Danny Ahn tas Ji Hak. La Ri Ma is obviously the more ruthless one, who would do everything for her dreams, while Lee Yoo Jin plays the second guy - the one who does everything for Ma Ha. Ji Hak is the CEO of Tea Party's agency. All of these (their roles, their personality) can be seen in their respective posters.
