Baeksang Arts Awards 2021 Begins Popularity Voting on TikTok + Netizen Rallies Kim Soo Hyun, Seo Ye Ji, Kim Seon Ho, and ‘Vincenzo’ Star Song Joong Ki
Baeksang Arts 2021 opened its voting poll for the Popularity Award over TikTok.
In less than two weeks before the prestigious ceremony, the Secretariat of the award-giving body announced the news, saying, "Today, April 3, 11 am to 10th 11:59 pm, we will hold a vote for the TikTok. Popularity Award for eight days."
The said category, also known as the TikTok Popularity Award, is given to one man and woman who have garnered the most number of votes.
For this year, the nominees comprised 35 men and 34 women for the TV and Film category. This includes "Penthouse" stars Kim Hyun Soo and Kim So Yeon, "Mr. Queen's" Shin Hye Sun, and controversial actress Seo Ye Ji were among the several candidates.
As for the male nominees, TikTok's Most Popular candidates include "Vincenzo" actor Song Joong Ki, 'Youth of May's" Lee Do Hyun, rising star Kim Seon Ho as well as Kim Seon Ho.

Baeksang Arts 2021: How to Vote on TikTok Most Popular Award?
To participate in the said poll, fans can search for "Baeksang Arts Awards" or "Baeksang" over TikTok.
Moreover, voting will be open to all social networking service users and allowed to vote three times per day.
Interestingly, if the user shared the voting page, this will add two votes for the said celebrity.
Netizens Hype Kim Seon Ho, Song Joong Ki, and "Its Okay to Not be Okay" Lead Stars
With the announcement regarding Baeksang Arts 2021's Most Popular Award, netizens did not waste time and began to vote for their favorite celebrities.
This time, fans shared creative ways to attract other users to vote for their chosen stars.
One fan account named the "Start-Up" actor Kim Seon Ho as the "Baeksang Arts Worthy Actor" and hopes to snag the Popularity and Best Supporting Actor awards.

56th Baeksang Arts Awards Most Popular Actor and Actress
In 2020, the Most Popular Actor and Actress went Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin, who starred in the smash-hit comedy romance drama "Crash Landing on You."
The on-screen turned real-life partners portrayed South Korean heiress Yoon Se Ri aka Sam Suk, and the North Korean elite, Captain Ri Jeong Hyeok.
Baeksang Arts 2021 Details
Despite the ongoing global health crisis, the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards will still continue but will be in its second year to have a socially distanced ceremony.
Said to be one of the most prestigious awarding ceremonies, it recognizes talents and contributions in film, television, and theater in South Korea.
Baeksang Arts 2021 is organized byIlgan Sports and JTBC Plus and is set on May 13 that will take place at Ilsanseo-gu, Gyeonggi Province.
The event will be hosted by comedian Shin Dong-yup and singer-actress Bae Suzy.
