Song Joong Ki to Resume Filming for ‘Bogota’ in South Korea + Shares There’s No Plan Yet for ‘Vincenzo Season 2’
Song Joong Ki finally dropped some of his unforgettable experiences while playing the role of Vincenzo Cassano.
After the successful finale of "Vincenzo," the phenomenal star sits for an interview early in the morning of May 3 and talks about the finale of his blockbuster weekend drama, and gives a glimpse for his upcoming projects.
Song Joong Ki Admitted that Accepting the Role of Vincenzo Cassano was One of the Greatest Decisions He Ever Made
Song Joong Ki began by sharing that it was his first time working on a project without feeling any burden. The kind of experience he had while filming the drama was like the title role that he has been portraying. He also mentioned the strong bond between the Geumga Plaza actors, "There were many episodes with the Geumga Plaza tenants and in fact, there were also lots of happy moments during our shoot. We built a genuine relationship throughout the months of working, and I really cherished and enjoyed having fun with them (Geumga Plaza actors)."
The "Space Sweepers" star didn't forget to express his gratitude towards the overwhelming and tremendous support of the viewers for "Vincenzo."

Due to the massive success that the drama keeps on receiving, Song Joong Ki also explained that there were lots of various reactions towards his character who played as a dark hero.
He further expressed that since the script was intended to have 20 episodes, he already thought of receiving different opinions from the audiences. Song Joong Ki said that his role was just too perfect, not too cruel and too good. He was able to show a good contrast for both.
Song Joong Ki shared that he wanted to thank himself for doing "Vincenzo" because he has learned a lot from his character and from the people he met during the filming. Plus, the public gave him huge love and support. Accepting the role of Vincenzo Cassano was one of his greatest decisions ever made.
Is "Vincenzo" Season 2 Possible?
Since many were asking if there would be a season 2, Song Joong ki finally shared his side about it. According to him, "There's no further discussion about season 2. I am personally happy to think that there are many people who want to have another season, it might not happen yet."

Filming Location for "Bogota" Has Been Moved to South Korea Instead of Colombia
Meanwhile, now that his record-breaking drama has finally closed its curtains, Song Joong Ki is gearing up to resume the filming of his new movie "Bogota." They are scheduled to continue the shoot in July (2021) in Colombia, but due to the worsening cases of COVID19, the location will take place in South Korea instead.
The Korean superstar also confirmed that he will be attending the upcoming "Baeksang Arts Awards" on May 13.
