‘Doom at Your Service’ Stars Seo In Guk, Park Bo Young, and More Talk about Their Experiences Working Together
The long-awaited fantasy-romance series "Doom at Your Service" is finally coming!
On May 6, the cast and crew of the forthcoming series, "Doom at Your Service," held an online press conference where they opened up on the upcoming drama.
"Doom at Your Service" Cast Talked about the Drama
Lead actors Seo In Guk, Park Bo Young, Lee Soo Hyuk, Kang Tae Oh, Shin Do Hyun, and the producing director Kwon Young Il were all present during the event.
Actress Park Bo Young began by sharing the main key point of her role, "I believe that Tak Dong Kyung is a person that people can relate into. She doesn't have a big goal in life but after knowing how hard it is to live in reality, she tries her best to find a job to be able to survive."
After almost three years, singer and actor Seo In Guk finally made his drama comeback with "Doom at Your Service."
He comically shared, "I am not saying that there was no pressure, because I felt a lot of pressure since it's been a long time before I work again. But, I think I am more excited now."
Seo In Guk's Curiosity about Myul Mang's Character Pushed Him to do the Series
The "Reply 1997" star also shared how he ended up with the project, "When I was reading the script, I have felt a lot of charm from the events that occur after Myul Mang and Tak Dong Kyung meet. I can also relate to Myul Mang's feelings of sadness from causing everything he touches to vanish. These things pushed me to do the drama and I wanted to understand his character more."
He also added that he became curious on what will happen when a person like Myul Mang finds someone to love. Seo In Guk was well driven to do the series because he was amazed by the story concept of it.
Lee Soo Hyuk was Happy to Finally Work Again with Seo In Guk
Meanwhile, "Doom at Your Service" is the third project that Lee Soo Hyuk and Seo In Guk have worked with following the series, "Highschool King of Savvy" and their upcoming movie "Pipeline."
Lee Soo Hyuk shared his experiences of working with Seo In Guk, "I didn't expect to work with Seo In Guk on three projects. Our first first drama 'Highschool King of Savvy' was about seven years ago but now that we are working again together, Seo In Guk was still the same, there was a lot to learn from him when it comes to acting and his behavior on set."
The scene-stealer actor also talked about his love triangle with Shin Do Hyun and Kang Tae Oh.
According to him, "There are two unique relationships in the series in which I think people would love to watch. Myul Mang and Tak Dong Kyung's unexpected romance, as well as Cha Joo Ik, Na Ji Na, and Lee Hyun Kyu complicated romance. We tried to show various emotions in a way that the viewers can easily relate to the characters involved in a love triangle."

Park Bo Young confessed that she was ecstatic to know she will finally be working with such charming actor, Seo In Guk.
Seo In Guk responded that he already had a feeling that he would be working again with Park Bo Young since he made a cameo on one of her dramas before. He added that he wanted to learn from his new onscreen partner when it comes to acting.
"Doom at Your Service" premieres on May 10 at 9:00 P.M (KST) on tvN.
