Upcoming drama "The Crazy Guy in this District' has dropped a new teaser, and it shows everything fans could ever want in a comedy-drama, and more. Recently, new stills were also released. All these signal how near the new show is to its release date.

"The Crazy Guy in this District" New Teaser

KakaoTV has dropped a new teaser of its upcoming drama, featuring just how hilariously unhinged the majority of the characters are in the series, in a good fun way.

There are a lot of big movements, a bit of cursing, and a healthy dose of tearjerking moments. It has a little bit of everything - comedy, drama, and even action. At one point, there's even a flashing of a dirty finger. Check the new teaser below, posted on KakaoTV's official Twitter account.

If the teaser piqued your interest, below is everything you need to know about the series.

"The Crazy Guy in the District" Cast and Plot

The show is a romantic comedy between two very opposite characters that you would not think they're even compatible with. The only common thing between them is they both had a colorful, complicated past.

Even though it offers more wacky moments than the usual romance, the drama will revolve around the story of two people meeting and falling in love even though they might not like each other at first, and while they individually have to heal after being hurt in the past.

Lee Min Kyung, the main character played by Oh Yeon Seo, is depicted as a woman who always angers other people because she seems to be living in her own delusional world.

In contrast, Na Hwi Oh, played by Jung Woo, is a detective from the violent crimes division that has a bad temper and no sense of humor. In short, they are both a bunch of "crazies" in the eyes of others. How the two will interact with each other, get used to one another's quirks, and realize they cannot live without each other would be an interesting ride to witness.

New Stills and an Official Release Date

The show has recently dropped some stills, and the photos looked quite interesting. However, none of them give away how the story will unfold since all images were of the two characters' individual scenes. They each got four stills featuring them on their solo scenes.

One of them had Oh Hyeon Seo flashing a finger and the other of her standing in the middle of the rain with sunglasses and umbrella to boot. There's one of her with a dog too and another of her looking quite innocent with literally rose-tinted glasses.

For Jung Woo's pictures, two just looked like he's scowling and wanting to fight someone, while the other two are of him tired and wistful.

The show has gotten an official release date, which is quite near already - on May 24, 2021.
