‘Doom at Your Service’ Actor Seo In Guk Celebrates His 13th Year in the Industry

Seo In Guk as a Versatile Artist for 13 Years
This year marks Seo In Guk's 13 years of being in the entertainment industry. As he looks back, he narrated his experiences throughout his journey towards stardom.
Not everyone knows that Seo In Guk actually debuted as a singer through the first season of Mnet's survival show, "Superstar K," where he was declared as the grand winner. This success opened doors for new and bigger opportunities, including acting projects.
He had spent most of his years in the acting arena. He intended to pursue a career in music, but discovered he also has huge potential in performing in front of the camera.
Today, Seo In Guk is considered among the great actors in the K-drama world. Now that he is celebrating his 13 years in the industry, the actor revealed his never-before-told stories.
He started by finding similarities in his job as a singer and as an actor.
Seo In Guk shared, "Being a singer and an actor are very much alike. An actor can show both of their own colors and character's life all at once everytime they work on a certain project. An actor expresses themselves through the way they act, while a singer unveils their identity with the kind of music taste they have."
For him, he was able to express himself in both industries by being genuine with his thoughts and actions. And since most of his activities were spent on his acting career, his fans are also excited to see him perform live on stage.

Seo In Guk Reveals Future Plans as a Singer
When asked about his future plans in music, Seo In Guk confessed that returning as a singer is one of his longtime goals. He misses singing for his fans.
The "Reply 1997" star continued, "It has been almost 13 years since I made my debut, but I have yet to release a full studio album. And it is one of the many things that really bothers me a bit."
Seo In Guk also shared that recently, he created a music studio for himself with the help of a music composer whom he is friends with. He said that he started to write and sing more songs.
His latest music activity was when he participated in the making of one of the official soundtracks of his ongoing drama, "Doom at Your Service."
Before the interview ended, Seo In Guk said that if given the chance, as a singer, he is ready to meet all his fans again.
