‘Hospital Playlist 2’ Star Jo Jung Suk Excited for His On-Screen Romance with Jeon Mi Do
Jo Jung Suk shares his thoughts about the much-awaited premiere of K-drama "Hospital Playlist 2" alongside cast members Jeon Mi Do, Yoo Yeon Seok, Jung Kyung Ho, and Kim Dae Myung.
Helmed by Shin Won Ho, who also directed the first season of the mega-hit tvN drama and written by Lee Woo Jung, the much-anticipated sequel is slated to release on June 17 and will be the newest Thursday drama.
With just days away from the "Hospital Playlist 2" release, cast members spoke about their roles and hints about what the viewers should expect for the forthcoming season.
Jo Jung Suk Thrilled for his On-Screen Romance with Jeon Mi Do
In a report cited by a South Korean outlet, the 40-year-old actor, who plays Lee Ik Jun, confessed that he is "looking forward" to his character's chemistry with Chae Song Hwa, played by the "Metamorphosis" actress.
"The most anticipated relationship is the fun chemistry. I'm also very curious and looking forward to how the relationship between the two will be portrayed following season 1," amplifying curiosity.
To recall, the first season ended with a cliffhanger between his budding relationship with Chae Song Hwa.
"Hospital Playlist" finale featured how the father of one admitted his feelings for his long-time friend, which stimulated the viewer's hearts.
At the time, he noticed that Song Hwa was stunned and appeared to be a a loss for words; he then said that he would find the answer once he gets back.
Unfortunately, he was about to leave South Korea to attend a conference in Spain, while Chae Song Hwa voluntarily transferred to the Sokcho branch to focus on her health.

Kim Dae Myung Looking Forward to his Possible Connection with Ahn Eun Jin
The same goes for Kim Dae Myung, who plays OB-Gyne surgeon Yang Seok Hyung.
Based on the last season, his resident, Chu Min Ha, played by Ahn Eun Jin, revealed her true feelings with Yang Seok Hyung, but he says he is not ready for a serious relationship.
In the drama, he also explained to his friends that he likes his current setup - being alone and spending his downtime with his mom.
In the interview ahead of the premiere, Kim Dae Myung shares that he is excited the most about his character development alongside Ahn Eun Jin.
"I am most looking forward to the chemistry. The chemistry between the two of them was so cute in season 1, and I look forward to seeing their chemistry in season 2 as well."
Apart from the five lead stars, several cast members will reprise their roles. This includes Shin Hyun Bin, Kwak Sun Young, Jung Moon Sung, and Jo Jung Suk's on-screen son Kim Jun.
Interestingly, rumors sparked that Lee Kyu Hyung and singer-actress Park Ji Yeon is set to make a special appearance in a highly anticipated drama.
