Rock and Ruz to Produce the Spanish Adaptation of Miracle in Cell No.7
In fact, the award-winning masterpiece Miracle in Cell No.7 is about to have a Spanish remake. Yes, you read it right!
According to a report from Sports Chosun, new production company Rock and Ruz in Spain have signed a remake rights contract with the team of Miracle in Cell No.7. Rock and Ruz was established by Miguel Ruz, who is also the producer of Netflix originals Black Mirror, joining him in the business is Jordi Roca, a former production coordinator.
The founders of Rock and Ruz participated in the production of Black Mirror, which opened a new era in science fiction, and successfully gained sympathy from global viewers by their creative approach of considering the human race in the development of future technology.
Versatile actor Ryoo Seung Ryong who played the role of Yong Goo made an outstanding performance in the movie, his wide range of acting have impressed the viewers the same as with actress Kal So Won and Park Shin Hye.
The touching story of Miracle in Cell No.7 has been recognized in different parts of the world and even received lots of awards for its compelling concept and excellent performances of the cast.

On the other hand, their new project Miracle in Cell No.7 Spanish adaptation is expected to be a work that goes beyond national and racial boundaries and conveys universal emotions that the future viewers can relate to.
There are also high expectations about the lead cast of the forthcoming remake, according to the news, Mario Casas, who was hailed as best actor at the Goya Awards 2021 (known as the Spanish Academy Awards) will be the one to play the lead actor.

Contents Panda is an affiliate of the global distribution business that signed a copyright contract for various work remakes of NEW contents such as The Villainess and Miracle Cell in No.7.
Recently, the movie The Villainess starring actress Kim Ok Vin has been confirmed to have a television series adaptation in Hollywood. The director of the film, Jeong Byeong Gil will be joining the American team to executive produce the pilot episode of the reboot project, and writer Francisca Hu will be the one to pen the script for the first episode of the new series.
These record-breaking films have been successful in the local market and Contents Panda is now planning to present a variety of works using NEW's previous projects in the future.
