According to Nielsen Korea, "Penthouse 3" viewership rating ascends to 15.7 percent for nationwide ratings while 16.3 percent in metropolitan areas--this made the latest episode achieve a total of 18.9 percent, setting its new personal best in terms of ratings.
With increasing figures in viewership ratings, this only shows that the public is continuously showing a warm response to the third and final season of the suspense thriller drama.

The latest episode began with Shim Su Ryeon (Lee Ji Ah) telling Joo Seok Hoon (Kim Young Dae) the truth about Joo Seok Kyung (Han Ji Hyun.)
"Penthouse 3" episode 8 showed how he learned that Seok Hoon was not her real twin but Min Seol Ah's. In addition, Su Ryeon also mentioned that she is her real daughter.
Despite feeling devastated, Seok Hoon still considers her as her twin sister and is eager to locate her after Su Ryeon suspects that she is not in Italy but held captive by Joo dan Tae (Uhm Ki Joon.)
Joo Seok Kyung Suffers at the Orphanage
"Penthouse 3" episode 8 featured Seok Kyung's new life outside Hera Palace.
Here, she learned that she was being detained in an orphanage alongside other teens who were abandoned by their families.
In one scene, Il Jin (Lee Yoo Bi) revealed that the palace was untouchable and wasn't even on the map, so there's no way for her to escape.
Bae Ro Na Beats Ha Eun Byeol
For the audition of resident musicians in Cheong A Arts School, Bae Ro Na (Kim Hyun Soo,) Yoo Je Ni (Jin Ji Hee,) Ha Eun Byeol (Choi Ye Bin,) Lee Min Hyuk (Lee Tae Vin), and more performed an operatic piece in front of the renowned singer and the rest of the jury.
Of course, the director and former primadonna Cheon Seo Jin (Kim So Yeon) manipulated the audition and chose a song that suits her daughter Ha Eun Byeol.
Unfortunately for the mother and daughter, Bae Ro Na aced the high notes and was able to win the coveted title.
After the audition, she confronted Eun Byeol and mentioned the drugs that she is taking. It appears that she did not know about the effects of it and thought that it was only for her migraines and panic attacks.
In "Penthouse 3" episode 8, Bae Ro Na thinks that someone forced Eun Byeol to tale the drugs to forget about the incident involving the tragic death of Oh Yoon He (Eugene).
Joo Seok Kyung Tries to Escape the Orphanage
Joo Seok Kyung made sure that she will not rot in the said place; hence, she staged a commotion as she attempted to escape.
As the guards brought her to the clinic, Seok Kyung breaks away from a group of men to escape the place.
Interestingly, she saw Joo dan Tae and thought that he would help her get out of the orphanage, which he didn't.
There, he told her that her real mom is Shim Su Ryeon, and it was Min Seol Ah who was her twin and not Joo Seok Hoon.
In the latest episode, Joo Dan Tae locked her up in a room and used her to frame Su Ryeon regarding the new construction site; however, Seok Kyung instructed her mom not to cave into Dan Tae's request.
At the time, Su Ryeon located Dan Tae with the intent of saving her daughter.
Unfortunately, Seok Kyung escaped on her own but left a note telling her mom that she needs to get away from Dan Tae.
Shin Su Ryeon Reunites with Logan Lee
Things are starting to uncover right before Shim Su Ryeon's eyes.
In "Penthouse 3," episode 8, Logan Lee's family got the news that he is alive.
It came after Baek Joon Ki (Ohn Joo Wan) revealed to the family that Joo dan Tae was behind the situation and even showed a photo of him lying on a hospital bed.
Of course, the family used their power and abducted Dan Tae. he was also surprised that Logan Lee (Park Eun Seok) survived the assassination but pinpointed Shim Su Ryeon as the mastermind.
In the latest episode, Logan Lee's family went to the Penthouse alongside Dan Tae and saw him on the verge of his death while Su Ryeon was beside him.
One of his family members ordered to kill everyone involved in Logan's tragic ordeal, including Su Ryeon.
As "Penthouse 3" episode 8 comes to an end, it is revealed why Cheon Seo Jin wants to destroy everything that Su Ryeon has.
It appears that the primadonna was jealous of her all these years--from being a perfect housewife to having an almost perfect family, her wealth, and more--this is also why she wanted to kill Logan Lee and make Su Ryeon suffer.
Meanwhile, Logan Lee's family abducted Su Ryeon and transferred her to a vacation house. As she tried to explain that she did not kill him, Logan appeared in a wheelchair as he told her how much he missed her.
The episode ended with a passionate kiss from Logan Lee and Shim Su Ryeon.
