Actor Ryu Jun Yeol proved to the viewers that he is skillfully talented when it comes to acting after he diversified his roles by appearing in hit drama series "Reply 1988," "Lucky Romance," and "The Producers".
After his six years of inactivity, Ryu Jun Yeol will make a comeback to the small screen as Kang Jae, a dejected service operator who dreams of being rich and living in a greener pasture.
Despite his hard work, he still feels he hasn't achieved anything in his life. Kang Jae is cynical, but deep inside him, he wants to feel appreciated and needed.

In the newly released stills, "Lost" gave the viewers a sneak-peek into Kang Jae's taxing and uneventful life.
Kang Jae is enveloped in melancholy and dissatisfaction. He just lives his life to survive each day, even if he feels that it's useless to live while having no achievements in life.
The actor shared, "Kang Jae touched me greatly after reading the script. His hard work and charms made me feel afterglow. Like most people, he is a person who gets through the day with anxiety and exhaustion. I sympathize with him."
Ryu Jun Yeol also expressed his gratitude to his co-star Jeon Do Yeon and drama director Heo Jin Ho.
He also shared with much admiration for his role, "I experienced my youth with my philosophies about life from my sole experiences and relationships. I want to also know Kang Jae's life and loneliness as I also once walked the same path as him."

"Lost" marks Ryu Jun Yeol's first drama project together with veteran actress Jeon Do Yeon. It is also their first project after many years of inactivity on the drama screen.
While Ryu Jun Yeol gives life to Kang Jae, actress Jeon Do Yeon takes on the role of the ghostwriter Boo Jung who, like him, feels inadequate and lost as she hasn't achieved anything spectacular in her 40 years of living.
In the special poster published by JTBC, the phrase "Are you okay?" written on it gives a sense of comfort and healing to viewers.
The lonely and heavy eyes of Kang Jae and Jeon Do Yeon also leave an impression that permeates through the viewers' hearts.

Ryu Jun Yeol and Jeon Do Yeon's emotional combination is the key point of the drama. "Lost" production team said, "The uncomfortable feeling of being lost and the fear of becoming nothing are ironically the greatest comfort to people. Even though it is heartbreaking, the hurt gives people a warm feeling, and a drive to move forward."
They also encouraged the viewers to watch the upcoming drama series, "You will be immersed in the feelings of Kang Jae and Boo Jung who will show an amazing development in "Lost"."
'Lost' Production, Further Details, and Premiere Date
JTBC's upcoming drama is helmed by the master of melodrama Heo Jin Ho, who created "Princess DeokHye" and screenwriter Kim Ji Hye. It tells the stories of Boo Jung (Jeon Do Yeon) and Kang Jae (Ryu Jun Yeol), who feel lost and dissatisfied after accomplishing nothing spectacular in their lives.
"Kingdom" actor Park Byung Eun, "Moon Lovers: Secret Heart Ryeo" actor Park Ji Young, and "Marry Me, Mary!" actor Kim Hyo Jin, former Apink singer Son Naeun, and actress Na Hyun Woo will also be joining the cast.

"Lost" is slated to premiere on September 4 at 10:30 p.m. KST on JTBC.
