The third week of August is jam-packed with a variety of K-dramas with unconventional and interesting genres, from medical and office drama to romance, suspense, thriller, and crime.
As the year reaches its second half, broadcast companies continue to shower the viewers with new highly-anticipated dramas one should definitely watch.

'Nevertheless' New Episode
The romance drama "Nevertheless" starring Song Kang and Han So Hee, portraying the roles of Park Jae Eon and Yoo Na Bi respectively, is about to reach its finale.
"Nevertheless" has been a huge fan-favorite since its pilot broadcast last June 19. Viewers are deeply hooked on the complicated and unconventional relationship between Na Bi and Jae Eon.
After the emotional torture and heartaches, fans and viewers are curious as to whom Na Bi chooses at the end: Jae Eon, Do Hyeok (played by Chae Jong Hyeop), or herself.

"Hospital Playlist" is one of the highest-rated South Korean dramas in the history of television when it released a new season.
The drama stars actors Jo Jung Suk, Yoo Yeon Seok, Jung Kyung Ho, Kim Dae Myung, and Jeon Mi Do.
In the next episode, Lee Ik Jun, played by Jo Jung Suk, and the rest of the doctors play table tennis to unwind.

"Hospital Playlist" Season 2's ninth episode will be released on Thursday, August 19 at 9:00 p.m. on tvN.
It is also available for international streaming on Netflix.
'Check The Event' New K-Drama
The newest quirky and hilarious South Korean drama, "Check The Event," starring Girl's Day's Bang Minah, "Mouse" actor Kwon Hwa Woon, and "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" actor Ahn Woo Yeon recently premiered last on 14.
"Check The Event" revolves around the story of two ex-lovers Ha Song Yi and Park Do Kyeom, played by Minah and Kwon Hwa Woon, who pretended to still be together after winning a couple's trip to Jeju Island from a raffle they joined when they were still in a relationship.
The first episode showed the lovely relationship the two characters nurtured. Fans and viewers immediately loved the comedic duo and their complicated relationship.

The next episode, "Check The Event," and its plot will progress and will showcase the dynamics of ex-lovers Ha Song Yi and Park Do Kyeom.
The new drama consists of four episodes only. Its second episode will be released on August 21 on MBC.

'Police University' New K-Drama
Youthful, coming-of-age drama series "Police University" starring Cha Tae Hyun, B1A4's Jinyoung, and f(x)'s Krystal stole the hearts of the viewers after its premiere on August 9.
The new drama started off blissfully with a 5.2% viewership rating during its pilot episode, 6.5% on its second, 6.8% on its third, and an average of 8.5% during its fourth episode.
In the previous episode, romance and love triangles brewed between Seon Ho, Kang Hee, and Min Gyu, played by Jinyoung, Krystal, and Young Woo, respectively.
Meanwhile, hacker Seon Ho and professor Dong Man (Cha Tae Hyun) embark on an exclusive investigation to catch the criminal hiding inside the university.
