IU Is A Weird And Lovesick Girl For “Pretty Man”

While working on her concert series, singer-actress IU will be portraying the character Kim Bo Tong in the new KBS drama "Pretty Man".

Kim Bo Tong, whose name means simple and ordinary, is the average girl-next-door who falls in love the most beautiful man in the world. Being the type who has never had her first kiss, and has a unique and unconventional fashion, Kim Bo Tong reflects the girls of this generation with her brave and sincere first love.

In the first set of pictures, IU is shown as a lovesick girl who is pining for her crush Dokgo Matte and going lengths just to see him. The next set shows IU's four-dimensional style of fashion with her unconventional lip bag and a six legged mannequin behind her. Because of her familiar cute charms, IU was able to portray her character's youthful love during the filming.

According to drama representatives, "IU works hard in portraying her character Kim Bo Tong through her cheerful and colorful charm. She can be naïve and simple-minded at times, but for her first love Dokgo Matte, she displays the genius beauty she has. IU will show the viewers her 200% friendliness through this drama."
