On the morning of August 30, JTBC's upcoming melodrama "Lost" released a new drama highlight teaser.

It also published exclusive behind-the-scenes photos featuring actors Jeon Do Yeon and Ryu Jun Yeol's undeniable synergy as on-screen partners.

"Lost" marks the small screen comeback of the two main actors after years of inactivity.

Jeon Do Yeon and Ryu Jun Yeol, who will come back to the small screen after five years as Boo Jung and Kang Jae, expressed injustice and dissatisfaction in the newly released drama highlight teaser for their forthcoming melodrama "Lost".

The highlight video teaser begins with Kang Jae, who confesses, "Where did it go wrong, what am I so afraid of?"

Kang Jae then cries in front of his father Chang Sook, played by Park In Hwan, saying, "I was born into this world and nothing spectacular happened."

On the other hand, Boo Jung, who now works as a housekeeper, resents her dull and boring life. Despite her age, she thinks that she hasn't done anything remarkable in her life.

Boo Jung and Kang Jae then attract prospective viewers' attention through their unusually interesting first meeting.

However, Boo Jung's life becomes more meaningless as she is entangled in a bad relationship with best-selling writer and celebrity Ah Ran, played by Park Ji Young.

Because of the negativity in their lives, Kang Jae asks, "Can you be friends with someone like me?" which only raises curiosity and anticipation for the upcoming melodrama.

The new melodrama is expected to give a tear-jerking narrative that will show empathy and compassion through the actors' performances.

Broadcast company JTBC also shared actors Jeon Do Yeon and Ryu Jun Yeol's exclusive behind-the-scenes photos from the drama, which highlighted their synergy and on-screen chemistry.

The passionate moments of the two catch the attention of the potential viewers. In the published photos, Jeon Do Yeon and Ryu Jun Yeol are immersed in each of their characters even before filming, gaining admiration and respect.

The undeniable synergy between Jeon Do Yeon and Ryu Jun Yeol helps the two actors to work perfectly with each other, considering the necessary subtle tension and complex emotions of Boo Jung and Kang Jae.

Jeon Do Yeon shared, "I'm back after a long time. Director Heo Jin Ho, whom I have always wanted to work with, and director Choi Yoon Man, who is like an old friend, as well as my colleagues and junior actors I met through this masterpiece, they are all precious to me."

Meanwhile, Ryu Jun Yeol said, "Director Heo Jin Ho and the production staff, as well as the other actors filmed happily the whole time. "Lost" tells the stories of ordinary people, and it will surely give sympathy and healing to its viewers."

The forthcoming melodrama "Lost" is helmed by "Princess Deokhye" director Heo Jin Ho together with "Introduction to Architecture" screenwriter Kim Ji Hye.

Park Ji Young, Apink's Son Naeun, Yoo Soo Bin, Park Byung Eun, and Kim Hyo Jin are also part of the drama series.

It is scheduled to air for the first time on JTBC at 10:30 p.m. KST on September 4.

"Lost" will also be available for international streaming on iQIYI.
