WHYNOT Media's newest exciting romance drama series "Mokkoji Kitchen" starring B1A4 member and actor Gongchan and "Check The Event" actress Nam Kyu Hee released its main poster on August 31.

"Mokkoji Kitchen" is a sweet and salty romance drama that will showcase not only superb recipes but also the two main leads' acting prowess.

B1A4 Gongchan and Nam Kyu Hee To Portray a Chef and a Taste-Tester in 'Mokkoji Kitchen'

B1A4 member Gongchan and actress Nam Kyu Hee are set to work together for the first time in the newest romance comedy drama series "Mokkoji Kitchen" (literal title).

"Mokkoji Kitchen" tells the sweet and salty story of Moo Young, a chef who owns a Korean restaurant, and Ro In, a college student who navigates the best tasting Korean restaurants. Due to an unexpected incident, the two accidentally get entwined by fate and the love of food that will certainly fill their hearts.

Gongchan will take on the role of Chef Moo Young. He is a responsible and diligent person who loves food, and especially cooking. Though he seems like he has his things all together, he doesn't know much about life and love.

Opposite actress Nam Kyu Hee who will be taking on the role of Ro In, the restaurant navigator. She has a pleasantly lively personality and she is known for finding good food and best tasting restaurants in the city.

Gongchan and Nam Kyu Hee are expected to portray the roles of Moo Young and Ro In perfectly, despite the two characters' opposing personalities and perspectives in life.

The published poster shows Moo Young and Ro In's charisma and chemistry together. The two actors are facing each other in a restaurant with warm gazes and soft smiles, which sets an undeniable romantic atmosphere that raises prospective viewers' anticipation.

The phrase that translates to "The food tastes better when you eat with me, doesn't it?" catches the attention of the viewers, stimulating curiosity about what kind of romantic relationship will bloom between the chef and the food-loving college girl.

'Mokkoji Kitchen' and What We Know For Now

"Mokkoji Kitchen" is a part of the 2021 Hallyu Life Culture Project that is hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism together with the Korea International Cultural Exchange Promotion Agency.

It aims to use web dramas, including "Mokkoji Kitchen," to promote the culture and life in Korea around the world as well as Russia, India, and Indonesia.

"Mokkoji Kitchen" is produced by broadcast media WHYNOT Media and Kok TV.

The forthcoming romance comedy drama series "Mokkoji Kitchen" will premiere for the first time on September 6 at 10:00 a.m. KST on Zong TV YouTube Channel.
