Based on the popular webtoon of the same name written by Jeong Seo, the 10-episode series follows the story of two college art students at Hongseo University who have a contrasting point of view in love and life.
In the drama "The World of the Married" star took on the role of the timid senior student, Yu Na Bi, who turned out to be skeptical about romance due to her failed relationship.
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old South Korean heartthrob portrays the campus crush, Park Jae Eon, who only believes in flings, one night stands, and is afraid of committing to a serious relationship.
After debuting on June 19, "Nevertheless" gained an overwhelming response on social media, lauding the on-screen chemistry between the lead actors.

Is "Nevertheless" Season 2 Possible?
It's been over two weeks since "Nevertheless" bid goodbye, giving the viewers heart fluttering scenes between Park Jae Eon and Yu Na Bi.
Unfortunately, amid viewers' requests for the second season, JTBC or drama officials never spoke about the possibility of having the webtoon series return for a new season.
As of this writing, an official announcement is yet to be made clear whether Song Kang and Han So Hee's drama is set to continue.

According to Nielsen Korea, the JTBC drama's highest rating only achieved 2.207 percent during its premiere and continued with around 1 percent during the entire broadcast.
