SM Entertainment Confirmed SHINee Minho's Appearance in Kakao TV’s New Drama ‘Goosebumps’
SHINee's Minho is finally taking over the K-dramaland with "Goosebumps"!
SM Entertainment confirmed on September 15 that SHINee member Minho gears up for a new drama project. According to their released statement, "Choi Minho is confirmed to star in Kakao TV's new thriller series 'Goosebumps.'"
Things to Know About Minho's New K-Drama 'Goosebumps'
The reality-based suspense drama will be helmed by director Jeong Beom Sik who directed the Korean horror movie "Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum" in 2018. He is also a known scriptwriter and some of his works are "Forbidden Dream," "Casa Amor: Exclusive For Ladies," "Miss Conspirator" and "The Epitaph."
Jeon Beom Sik specialized in doing horror movies and "Goosebumps" will be his first drama project.
"Goosebumps" is said to have a total of eight episodes and will center the concept about horror stories that happen in normal, everyday life.
'Goosebumps' to Also Star Choi Ji Woo
Choi Minho takes the role of Hoon, an innocent young man who is full of curiosity and wants to explore the unknown. As a pure man that he is, during one of his adventures, Hoon gets excited and meets someone whom he easily falls in love with. He will be entangled in an unexpected event after receiving a mysterious letter from an anonymous sender.
Recently, the "Woman with a Suitcase" star Choi Ji Woo was the first artist to confirm her participation in the drama. She will be playing the character of Hyun Jung.
Kakao TV's "Goosebumps" is set to meet the viewers in the second half of 2021.
'Yumi' Cells' to Premiere this September 17
Meanwhile, Choi Minho will also appear in tvN's forthcoming webtoon-based drama "Yumi's Cells" which is scheduled to have its premiere this September 17. Though he will be having a cameo in the series, Minho's small screen appearance is already gaining attention from the fans.
Minho's latest drama guest appearance was with Kakao TV's "Lovestruck in the City'' along with Ji Chang Wook and Kim Ji Won that aired from December 2020 to February 2021.

Super Junior's Siwon to Make His Drama Return with 'City Girl Drinkers'
Another SM artist will be having his long-awaited drama comeback this 2021. Choi Siwon's new TVING series "City Girl Drinkers" dropped its first official poster. The Super Junior member shares screen with Jung Eun Ji, Lee Sun Bin, and Han Sun Hwa.
The drama is set to be released anytime soon in October.
