The lead stars of the upcoming K-drama "Yumi's Cells" Kim Go Eun and Ahn Bo Hyun radiated charming aura as they graced the press conference ahead of the premiere.
Interestingly, the duo showed off their unique chemistry while posing in front of the media alongside the drama PD Lee Sang Yeob.

At the "Yumi's Cells" press conference, the actors share their thoughts working together in a webtoon-based drama.
The Hallyu star, who plays the titular character of Kim Yumi, recalled her first impression of Ahn Bo Hyun, whom she praised for his striking features.
"I thought he was very cool and handsome. I was surprised because he was tall and bulky."
The same goes for the male lead star who lauded Kim Go Eun for her similarities with the webtoon character, adding that the actress looked identical with Yumi.
Seemingly, Go Eun shared that she wanted to depict the character "as close to the truth as possible," hence the signature blunt bangs.

Ahn Bo Hyun 'Honored' to Work Alongside Kim Go Eun
As the event continued, the 33-year-old actor expressed his gratitude for being casted as the lead star in "Yumi's Cells."
In addition, he also shared how "honored" he is teaming up with the actress, pointing out the male lead stars that she previously worked with.
"It was an honor to be able to appear together. It's an honor to be able to become one. In fact, it's synchronicity like Yumi."
Kim Go Eun has worked with some of the brightest stars in the Hallyu world; this includes Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook in the mega-hit K-drama "Goblin" as well as the OG Oppa Lee Min Ho in the mystery sci-fi series "The King: Eternal Monarch."
'Yumi's Cells' PD Hints at the Focus of the Upcoming tvN Drama
PD Lee Sang Yeob also gave the audience a glimpse of what to expect in the soon-to-be-released drama "Yumi's Cells," sharing that it is an "interesting" and feel-good love story that we all need.
"If you look at the cells, you will see a new drama that you have never seen before, so there was no reason not to do it," he added.
The upcoming K-drama "Yumi's Cells" follows the story of the ordinary office girl named Yumi, who lives an extraordinary life after falling into a deep coma.
This is due to a traumatic breakup that caused her to struggle processing her emotions and feelings.
However, things will change when she crosses paths with the game developer Goo Woong, played by Ahn Bo Hyun.
"Yumi's Cells" release date is scheduled to premiere on Sep 17, airing every Friday and Saturday on tvN.
