‘Hospital Playlist’ Season 3 Update: Production Team Reacts to Rumored Sequel of the Medical K-Drama
While Yuljems are looking forward to Hospital Playlist season 3, the production team set the record straight regarding the possibility of the medical K-drama returning for a sequel.
In a report cited by a local media outlet, tvN's top-rating series "will end all seasons with season 2."
This is despite the request of thousands of viewers hoping for a trilogy featuring the 99ers Kim Dae Myung, Jo Jung Suk, Jung Kyung Ho, Jeon Mi, Yoo Yeon Seok, and the rest of the staff at Yulje Medical Center staff.

Amid this, a representative from the production team addressed the issue, revealing that the casts are willing to return for the new season; however, there are no concrete plans to produce the third sequel as of the moment.
"All of the production team and cast members have the definite will to unite if a new season is planned someday, but as of now, there are no specific plans."
To recall, director Shin Won Ho previously echoed the same sentiment during the press conference of Hospital Playlist season 2.
He explained that the series initially intended to air for three years but advised the cast members that they were "not tied up" to the drama and could freely accept future offers.
"I said if we happen to return, later on, we can do it then. There are no specific plans for Season 3 right now," he added.
