Squid Game cast Jung Ho Yeon and Lee Byung Hun received positive response from fans after appearing in the megahit Netflix series. The award-winning actor who played a cameo yet a significant character in the thriller Kdrama showed off a special gift he received from the streaming giant.

Netflix Sends Lee Byung Hun a Squid Game-Themed Gift

Over Lee Byung Hun Instagram, he shared a Squid Game-themed memorabilia that he got during the Chuseok holiday.

"Happy Chuseok," the caption reads alongside a series of photos featuring a mini game machine with the head of the doll seen in episode 1.

Moreover, the package also includes Squid Game merch, such as the iconic green tracksuit worn by the participants and a set of marbles.

To recall, the "Mr. Sunshine" star portrayed the frontman who serves as the moderator of the game and the bridge between the VIPs.

Throughout the game, his identity was concealed and only revealed in the latter part of the series.

In Squid Game, Lee Byung Hun's character is Hwang In Ho, a former champion at the deadly match who turned out to be the master of the ceremony and the person who runs the game.

After his brief appearance in the Netflix series, the 51-year-old actor is set to star in two upcoming Kdramas.

First is the star-studded series "Our Blues" alongside Cha Seung Won and power couple Shin Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin. This is followed by another drama series, "Here" with "Start-Up" star Nam Joo Hyuk, Shin Min Ah, and more.

Jung Ho Yeon's Instagram followers went from 400,000 and tripled to 1.3 million and counting.

Most of her photos featured her previous work and collaboration with top brands such as Chanel, Fendi, and more.

Her sudden fame only means that viewers were impressed with her performance as the North Korean Kang Sae Byeok, a.k.a player No. 067.

Interestingly, Squid Game is her first-ever appearance on the small screen.

Despite being a newbie in the entertainment industry, Jung Ho Yeon made a name for herself in the modeling world, gracing various fashion shows around the world as well as landing on several high-end fashion magazines like Marie Claire and Harper's Bazaar.

Released on September 17, Squid Game can be streamed exclusively on Netflix with a total of nine episodes.
