In the latest episode of Mnet's TMI News, the variety show revealed the top 10 celebrities who earned the best profit in the first half of 2021.
How Much Did Song Joong Ki Make in 'Vincenzo'?
According to the program, the 36-year-old star sits in the top seven with 168,000 USD or 200 million won per episode, making him one of the highest-paid South Korean actors.
As for his mega-hit tvN series "Vincenzo," which stars Jeon Yeo Been and Ok Taecyeon, Song Joong Ki reportedly took home a staggering 3,400,000 USD or 4 billion KRW just in the crime drama alone.
On top of this, the South Korean heartthrob currently has six endorsements, gaining a total of 2,500,000 USD or 3 billion KRW in his current advertisements, which varies from health, tech, cosmetics, and more.
With this, Mnet's "TMI News" concluded that Soong Joong Ki's total revenue for the first half of the year alone soared to 5,900,000 USD or 7 billion KRW.

After being rumored to make a comeback on the small screen, JTBC finally confirmed that Song Joong Ki would star in the fantasy drama alongside "Hospital Playlist" actress Shin Hyun Bin and Lee Sung Min.
In the webtoon-based series, the actor will take on the role of Yoon Hyun Woo, a secretary of a wealthy family and will be reincarnated as the chaebol family's youngest son, Jin Do Joon.
Song Joong Ki's 'Bogotá: City of the Lost'
Apart from the small screen, the Hallyu star will also appear in an upcoming thriller crime movie.
Set in Colombia, "Bogotá: City of the Lost" follows the story of a young South Korean who left the country for Colombia in the 1990s.
