‘Hospital Playlist’ Cast Update 2021: Here’s What Jo Jung Suk, Jeon Mi Do and the Rest of 99ers are Up to Now After Season 2
Kdrama fandom was so hooked on "Hospital Playlist 2," witnessing the colorful and extraordinary lives of Jo Jung Suk, Jeon Mi Do, Yoo Yeon Seok, Jung Kyung Ho, and Kim Dae Myung.
After the beloved medical series concluded its second season last September, viewers are already looking forward to another sequel.
Unfortunately, PD Shin Won Ho spoke about "Hospital Playlist 3" and mentioned that it is unlikely to happen as of the moment.
In an interview, the director explained that there are "no definite plans for a third season," however, the cast and crew expressed their willingness to return for another season if the broadcast network gave a green light.
Although "Hospital Playlist" season 3 is still up in the air, Yuljems can still watch their favorite 99ers in their current and upcoming shows.

Jo Jung Suk
Let's start the "Hospital Playlist" cast update with the resident funny man Jo Jung Suk a.k.a Yulje Hospital's top-notch hepatologist, Lee Ik Jun.
The 40-year-old star, who is also now a father-of-one, is set to make a comeback on the big screen with the movie "The Land of Happiness."

Jo Jung Suk will star alongside Lee Sun Kyun and veteran actor Yoo Jae Myung.
Interestingly, he also made a special appearance in "Saturday Night Live Korea: Season 10," where he played the AI waiter, Alpha Joe.
Jeon Mi Do
The 39-year-old beauty portrayed the Kdrama's neurosurgeon Chae Song Hwa whose budding romance with Ik Jun was highlighted in season 2.
After "Hospital Playlist 2," Jeon Mi Do will be headlining a romance drama "Thirty-Nine" alongside Hallyu star Son Ye Jin and Kim Ji Hyun.
Jung Kyung Ho
Although the cardiothoracic surgeon Kim Jun Wan has this cold exterior yet softie on the inside, Jung Kyung Ho, in real life, has this funny and crazy persona as seen on his Instagram, where he often updates fans with a glimpse of his life.
As for his upcoming projects, he is set to appear as one of the lead stars in the medical movie "Apgujeong Report" together with Ma Dong Seo, Oh Na Ra and more.
Yoo Yeon Seok
Known as the "Buddha" Ahn Jung Won in the tvN Kdrama, Yoo Yeon Seok will star in the upcoming series "Suriname" as David Park.
The 37-year-old actor will act alongside a star-studded cast, including "Squid Game" actor Park Hae Soo, Ha Jung Woo, Jo Woo Jin and award-winning actor Hwang Jung Min.
Kim Dae Myung
Last on the list is the obstetrics and gynecologist Yang Seok Hyung played by Kim Dae Myung.
Aside from the IkSong couple, fans also witnessed his blossoming relationship with Chu Min Ah (Ahn Eun Jin) in "Hospital Playlist 2."
Now, the actor is currently appearing in the variety show "Three Meals a Day: Doctors" with the 99ers.
The show is helmed by Na Young Seok, who also made a cameo in one of the episodes of "Hospital Playlist" season 2.
