Song Joong Ki's new drama is under JTBC and helmed by "She Was Pretty" and "I Am Not a Robot" director Jeong Dae Yun and penned by screenwriter Kim Tae Hee who wrote "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" and "A Beautiful Mind."

After being in talks to headline the JTBC series, the Hallyu star finally confirmed his appearance in the much-awaited fantasy drama.
Apart from the actor, an interesting lineup of stars is set to join "The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate."
Song Joong Ki's leading lady is Shin Hyun Bin, who gained recognition as the Yuje's surgery resident Jang Gyeo Wool in the beloved medical series "Hospital Playlist."
Moreover, the cast members also include Lee Sung Min, Kim Nam Hee, Jo Han Chul, and SNSD's Tiffany, who will have her small screen debut with this drama.
The upcoming fantasy series follows the story of a loyal employee who was duped by his longtime employer and reincarnated as the chaebol family's son.
Song Joong Ki took on the role of Jin Do Joon, who showed nothing but loyalty to the wealthy family but was caught up in a devastating situation after he was framed for embezzlement, resulting in being murdered by his boss' men.
However, things took an interesting turn after he was reborn as the chaebol's youngest son with his new identity Yoon Hyun Woo.
He is now set to take his bitter-sweet revenge against the people who belittle him.
Meanwhile, Shin Hyun Bin, who took on the character of prosecutor Seo Min Young is responsible for tracking down the Sunyang Group family's illegal business and practices of hereditary succession.
She is known to be the "grim reaper" of the family because of her willingness to crack down Sunyang group's criminal acts.
"The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate" is scheduled to air in 2022 through JTBC.
Song Joong Ki's upcoming fantasy series is his follow-up Kdrama after successfully wrapping up the comedy crime "Vincenzo" in May 2021.
The top rating tvN series, which stars Jeon Yeo Been, Jo Han Chul, Ok Taec Yeon, and more, gained the attention of millions of viewers.
Unfortunately, the broadcast network did not express any plans for the blockbuster series to return for a second season.
