RAIN Exhibits Charisma in New ‘Ghost Doctor’ Stills + Drama Confirms Premiere Date
Jung Ji Hoon, popularly known as the K-pop icon Rain, is ready to steal the spotlight as a doctor in his upcoming drama with Kim Bum, "Ghost Doctor." The singer-actor will return to the small screen after two years of hiatus.
On December 1, tvN unveiled Rain's first character stills where he showecased his overflowing charisma while clad in a brown suit and scrubs.

"Ghost Doctor" depicts the story of two doctors, who both have impressive educational backgrounds and skills. They will be entangled in a strange situation.
Cha Young Min (Jung Ji Hoon/Rain), who is considered as one of the best doctors, will be possessed by Go Seung Tak (Kim Bum), a rich and hard working medical staff.
Cha Young Min is a thoracic surgeon who possesses genius medical skills and who saves patients whenever he touches them. He has a warm appearance and extraordinary specifications, but one thing other people hate about him is his selfishness. But his character changes after an unexpected car accident.

tvN also confirmed that "Ghost Doctor" will have its much-awaited premiere on January 3, 2022 at 10:30 p.m (KST) and regular broadcast will be every Monday and Tuesday.
"My Girlfriend is a Gumiho" director Boo Sung Chul is in charge of the series and writer Kim Sun Soo penned the script for Rain's drama comeback.
Apink's Naeun and former After School member and actress Uee are also confirmed to appear in the fantasy-medical series.

Before the drama stills came out, the phenomenal star already spoiled his fans and social media followers by publishing never before seen snippets of him from the set of "Ghost Doctor."
The "Full House" actor showed the duality of his character and projected his dandy looks while wearing suit and tie.
Apart from acting, Rain is also busy producing music and doing training for future idols. He also has a new travel show on Netflix titled "The Hungry and The Hairy," alongside Ro Hong Chul. The program is slated to meet the viewers on December 11.
The K-pop icon is also a loving husband to his wife Kim Tae Hee. Many adored their latest interaction on Instagram when the "My Princess" actress posted photos of her for the first time in months and Rain showed his support by flooding the commenst section with heart emojis.
