Song Kang and Han So Hee's rom-com series "Nevertheless" entertained the whole Kdrama fandom with refreshing stories from strangers to lovers' romance.
Interestingly, fans are divided between the team potato and team butterfly, referring to the "Sweet Home" star's character Park Jae Eon and Chae Jong Hyeop as they battle to win the heart of Yu Na Bi, played by the 27-year-old actress.
Aside from the lead stars, the viewers are also drawn to the supporting characters and their complicated relationships.
Although "Nevertheless" bid goodbye with a heartbreaking finale for #teampotato, there are no official statements from JTBC or the drama representative regarding its possibility to return for season 2 despite the global popularity and the open ending story.

Song Kang
The South Korean heartthrob perfectly portrayed the role of third-year art student Park Jae Eon who finally overcomes his issues with commitment.
After wrapping up the webtoon-based series, he will return to the small screen in 2022 with his new drama "Meteorological Agency People: The Cruelty of Office Romance" with Park Min Young.
Set to debut in the first half of 2022, the forthcoming JTBC melodrama includes Girl's Day's Yura and Yoon Park and is directed by the "When the Camellia Blooms" PD Cha Young Hoon.
Han So Hee
If there were a list of South Korean celebrities who are booked and busy for 2022, Han So Hee would definitely be on the rundown.
She recently had a back-to-back Kdrama after "Nevertheless," which stars Ahn Bo Hyun and Park Hee Soon in the action-packed series "My Name."
In addition, this is followed by a slew of highly anticipated series such as the "K Project" with Park Seo Joon and "Squid Game" star Wi Ha Joon, as well as a romance drama with Park Hyung Sik helmed by the "Vincenzo" director.
